5' MINUTES OF A SPECIAL MEETING OF COUNCIL Mayfield Village March 26, 1987 The Council of Mayfield Village met in Special Session on Thursday, March 26, 1987, at 8:10 p.m. in the Council Chambers at the Village Hall. Council President Santo Basile presided. . Roll Call: Present: Mr. Basile, Mr. Etzler, Mr. F1ynn, Mr. Petschauer (9 p.m.) Absent : Mr. Goley ? Also Present Were . Mayor Carmen, Mr. Patrick, Miss Heath Discussion was held regarding the appropriations ordinance (how the amounts were determined, etc.) Mayor Carmen said that Lester Foltz will be retiring at the end of Apri1. He said that Har'ry Krause is going to retire at the end of the year. He is to submit a letter stating same in the next week or so. Mayor Carmen suggested that a Special Council Meeting be held on the night of the next Caucus' Meeting.in order to finalize the personnel matters. Mayor Carmen stated that he has asked Engineer Hovancsek to go out for bids for road resurfacing of certain asphalt streets. Next year, the concrete streets will be looked at. Mr. Petschauer arrived at th.is time (9 p.m.) He stated that he had only tentatively agreed to attend this meeting. Upon checking his calendar he' found that tonight:was the night of the montHly homeowner's assocation meeting that he is president of. Therefore, he was at that meeting until this time. Ordinance No. 87-9, entitled; "AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR CURRENT EXPENSES AND OTHER EXPENDITURES OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, FOR THE PERIOD FROM JANUARY 1,1987 TO DECEMBER 31, 1987." Introduced by Mayor Carmen and Council as a Whole. (First Reading, rules suspended, & tabled 3/16/87) Mr. Etzler, seconded by Mr. Flynn, made a motion to remove Ordinance No. 87-9 from the table. Roll Call: AYES: A11 NAYS: None Motion Carried Ordinance Removed from Table Mr. Flynn, seconded by Mr. Etzler, made a motion to enact Ordinance No. 87-9.
