72 STANDING COMMITTEE REPORTS Architectural Review Board - Mr. Amendola said the Board met on April 23 and May 14. Three single-family dwellings, three additions, a deck, a patio enclosure and an accessory building were approved. Mr. Flynn asked if the secretary could include the names of the builders of the projects in future minutes. Mr. Amendola agreed to this. Board of Appeals - Mr. Amendola said there was no requirement for a meeting. Commission on Aging - Mr. Etzler said the Commission met on Apri1 28. An accounting of all Commission properties were given. The monies have been received from the VilTage and the Commission would like to thank Council for that. They planned the Anniversary Party which was held May 2nd. Pertaining to Ordinance No. 87-11, the Commission finds no problem with that ordinance.. However, in the future when a Coordinator or Human Services Director is employed by the Village, the Commission would like some input in the interview- ing process. Finance - Mr. Petschauer said the Finance Committee met this evening at 7:15 p.m. Al1 of Council were present. There were four major topics of discussion: 1) Sick Leave for Firefighters (Ord. 87-8, Sec. G) . 2) Preparation of.a Finance Committee Agenda to be formulated bq the Finance Director and the Finance Committee Chairperson. The agenda should be in the hands of the Mayor and Council the Friday prior to each Finance Committee meeting. 3) Discussion of a compatible computerization of the budgetary system. 4) Made reference to the revised appropriation ordinance (87-15.) Hillcrest Council of Councils - Mr. Petschauer said there was no report. M.A.R.C. - Mr. Etzler said they are in the process ot planning the Art Show and annual Track Meet., Ordinance Review Committee - Mr. Feneli said the Committee met May 11. They discussed some itemsfrom the Planning & Zoning Code as brought up by the Engineer that he felt should be changed. He said the only questions arose after the Engineer had left the meeting. Mr. Feneli said he sent Mr. Hovancsek a letter and after clarity is made for those items, the review of the P&Z code should be completed. As for the.next meeting, he and Mr. Amendola have many issues to review. They could meet to.make the review and submit a list for the following meeting. Planning and Zoning - Mr. Basile said they met on May 4. There was nothing on the:agenda, so the workshop meeting is canceled this month. Recreation - Mr. Petsehauer said the Lunch with the Easter Bunny and Egg Hunt was a tremendous success. The weather.was great so the egg hunt was held outside. Everyone had a good time. Mr. Petschauer reported that the Recreation Committee is working on long.and shart range goals. They would like to have some input on changes and development of Wiley Park in the future. They are interested in providing a children's park at Wiley Park for the Village. They would like to request the service of Stephen Hovancsek to view the area and see what would be the most likely spot for the children's park.
