72 <br />STANDING COMMITTEE REPORTS <br />Architectural Review Board - Mr. Amendola said the Board met on April 23 and <br />May 14. Three single-family dwellings, three additions, a deck, a patio <br />enclosure and an accessory building were approved. <br />Mr. Flynn asked if the secretary could include the names of the builders of <br />the projects in future minutes. Mr. Amendola agreed to this. <br />Board of Appeals - Mr. Amendola said there was no requirement for a meeting. <br />Commission on Aging - Mr. Etzler said the Commission met on Apri1 28. An <br />accounting of all Commission properties were given. The monies have been <br />received from the VilTage and the Commission would like to thank Council for <br />that. They planned the Anniversary Party which was held May 2nd. Pertaining <br />to Ordinance No. 87-11, the Commission finds no problem with that ordinance.. <br />However, in the future when a Coordinator or Human Services Director is <br />employed by the Village, the Commission would like some input in the interview- <br />ing process. <br />Finance - Mr. Petschauer said the Finance Committee met this evening at 7:15 <br />p.m. Al1 of Council were present. There were four major topics of discussion: <br />1) Sick Leave for Firefighters (Ord. 87-8, Sec. G) . <br />2) Preparation of.a Finance Committee Agenda to be formulated bq <br />the Finance Director and the Finance Committee Chairperson. <br />The agenda should be in the hands of the Mayor and Council <br />the Friday prior to each Finance Committee meeting. <br />3) Discussion of a compatible computerization of the budgetary <br />system. <br />4) Made reference to the revised appropriation ordinance (87-15.) <br />Hillcrest Council of Councils - Mr. Petschauer said there was no report. <br />M.A.R.C. - Mr. Etzler said they are in the process ot planning the Art Show <br />and annual Track Meet., <br />Ordinance Review Committee - Mr. Feneli said the Committee met May 11. They <br />discussed some itemsfrom the Planning & Zoning Code as brought up by the <br />Engineer that he felt should be changed. He said the only questions arose <br />after the Engineer had left the meeting. Mr. Feneli said he sent Mr. Hovancsek <br />a letter and after clarity is made for those items, the review of the P&Z code <br />should be completed. As for the.next meeting, he and Mr. Amendola have many <br />issues to review. They could meet to.make the review and submit a list for <br />the following meeting. <br />Planning and Zoning - Mr. Basile said they met on May 4. There was nothing <br />on the:agenda, so the workshop meeting is canceled this month. <br />Recreation - Mr. Petsehauer said the Lunch with the Easter Bunny and Egg Hunt <br />was a tremendous success. The weather.was great so the egg hunt was held <br />outside. Everyone had a good time. <br />Mr. Petschauer reported that the Recreation Committee is working on long.and <br />shart range goals. They would like to have some input on changes and <br />development of Wiley Park in the future. They are interested in providing <br />a children's park at Wiley Park for the Village. They would like to request <br />the service of Stephen Hovancsek to view the area and see what would be the <br />most likely spot for the children's park. <br /> <br /> <br />
