79
Mr. Petschauer said he thinks we should be concerned about the environmental
impact and the health situation of individuals concerned.
Mr. Hovancsek explained that the Cuyahoga County Board of Health has total
jurisdiction of septic tank reviews, conditions, orders on implementation,
replacement, etc. The Village pays several thousand dollars a year for .
the Board of Health to take care of that. It would be their responsibility
to do it.
Mr. Etzler said he feels that since Mr. Piunno is receptive to making an
agreement at this time,'that we pursue that now. He suggested that a
maintenance agreement be drafted citing that Mr. Piunno has the responsibility
for maintenance of the ditch, keeping it open.
Mr. Goley said he is not in favor of widening the ditch until Mr. McCloud can
assure him that the septic system is functioning properly..
Mr. Amendola said that Mr. McCloud said that it could take as much as six
months to be taken care of and that we would want to go until the end of the
summer witfiout correcting the ditch.
Mr. Etzler said he did not feel it was right to build a dam stopping the '
effluent in someone's back yard; because the stream is dammed up at that point.
Mr..Hovancsek explained the new criteria that Cuyahoga County is mandating
when a home in the County is sold. You must get a sign-off from the County
Board of Health that your system is good before your home can be s.old.
Further discussion was held. ?
Mr. Sasile suggested that a letter be taken to Mr. Piunno for his signature.
Mr. Feneli asked Mr. Hovancsek to review the legal that he prepared for him
some time ago for the Piunno property which was based on a 2' bottom and redo
it based on a.l' bottom and redefine what we will do again. Maybe it could
be revised so it will be acceptable to Mr. Piunno.
Mr. Hovancsek said he will revise the sketch.
Mr. Feneli said Mr. Hovancsek should advise him when that is ready and he
will take it to Mr. Piunno.
Front Row Traffic - Mayor Carmen said there.were no new reports.
Jefferson Buildings - Mr. Basile said this subject was discussed earlier.
Aintree North Drainage - Mr. Basile said this subject was also, discussed earlier.
Cotton Property - Mayor Carmen said he, Mr. Amendola, and Mr. Feneli, met with
Mr. Cotton about two weeks ago. Mr. Cotton agreed to correct the problem.
Mr. Basile asked Mr. Amendola if the work had been done yet.
Mr. Amendola said he was waiting to see if a letter would be written or how
it would be handled.
