1, L' <br />77 <br />First.Read.ing of Ordinance No. 87-12, entitled; "AN OkDINANCE ENACTING SECTION <br />133.04 OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, ADOPTING A <br />PROCEDURE AUTHORIZED UNDER OHIO REVISED CODE 3929.86 TO ENABLE THE MUNICIPALITY <br />TO RECEIVE,INSURANCE PROCCEDS AS SECURITY FOR THE REPAIR OR REMOVAL OF FIRE <br />DAMAGED STRUCTURES AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY." Mr. Goley, made,a motion to suspend the rules of <br />Council requiring an ordinance to be.read on three.separate occasions. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYSe None' <br /> <br />Motion Carried <br />Ru1es Suspended <br />Mr. Etzler, seconded by Mr. Goley, made a motion to enact Ordinance No. 87-12. <br />Mr. Flynn asked what we could use as leverage to have these peoPle bring the <br />buildings back to specs, up to code. <br />Mr. Feneli said it would be defined iri the Ohia Revised Code. _He explained <br />that this ordinance would allow the Director of Finance to make sure that <br />there is no money paid out to the owner of a building, then the owner never <br />puts the money back in and we have a fire-damaged structure and he has the <br />money in his hand and you never see him again.
