7/20/87 <br />Regular Meeting of Council <br />Page 11. <br />First Reading of Resolution No. 87-63, entitled; "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING <br />THE DIRECTOR OF FINANCE TO MAKE PAYMENT.-T&LOVE INSURANCE AGENCY, INC. <br />IN THE AMOUNT OF EIGHT THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED DOLLARS ($8,400.00) FOR THE <br />PURCHASE OF EXCESS AUTOMOBILE LIABILITY INSURANCE FROM THE TUDOR INSURANCE <br />COMPANY FOR THE PERIOD JULY l, 1987 TO JULY l, 1988 AND DECLARING AN <br />EMERGENCY." He requested that Council authorize this payment; our <br />share would be approximately $30,000. <br />Mr. Goley, seconded by Mr. Etzler, made a motion to authorize Mayor Carmen <br />to send the necessary letter to the County stating that we will pay our <br />share of the force account work for the Wilson Mills Road Improvement. <br />Roll Call: AYES: AlT <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Authorization Given <br />' Mayor Carmen asked Mr. Hovancsek to draft the letter for his signature. <br />Mr. Petschauer said that Chief Stevens and Chief Mohr have been working on <br />a fitness ordinance. <br />Mr. Petschauer requested that the Hejcl. Flower Shop issue be placed on the <br />agenda under Old Business until it is resolved. <br />11 <br />Mayor Carmen said the Thornapple Pond should be discussed at the riext Council <br />Caucus. <br />Mayor Carmen said we received a call from residents in the Sandalwood area <br />complaining about the Spaghetti Company hanging mats out to dry on the fence. <br />He asked that Mr. Amendola follow up on this to ensure the repair is made <br />on the fence.
