10/19/87 <br />Page 7 <br />waiting for the delivery of 6 more pine tree-s; then the job will <br />be done. <br />Mayor Carmen asked the status of the agreement.with the County. <br />Mre Hovancsek said he contacted the County about a week and a <br />half ago in an attempt to speed this up, but we have not received <br />the agreement yet. <br />Mayor Carmen asked Mr. Hov.a'nc%sek to.contact the County on an <br />every-other-day basis until.it is_received. , <br />Sunday Liquor Sales - Ward 3, Precinct A- Mr. Flynn said this <br />was at Heinen's. - <br />Mr. Feneli explained that this .will be o.n the ballot to be voted <br />on by the voters. ' <br />Mayor Carmen said this is not something he feels we should try to <br />prevent since we have not tried to prevent others. <br />Rear Yard Drainage - 6818 - 6828 - 6838 Bramblewood - Mr. <br />Amendola said letters have been sent to all three residents <br />requesting that they pay for the cost of the materials to place <br />two pipes below the surface. Since they d.o not •want water running <br />in the swale all the time, this would carry some of it below. He <br />said the Mre Catonese gave permission to lower the pipe in his <br />yard by one foot so it is possible to put these pipes in the <br />trench for those people. Mr. Amendola said only one resident has <br />given approval; he will contact the others tomorrow to get their <br />response. Hickory Hill Road Conditions - Mrs Basile said that the road is <br />so bad you cannot ride a bicycle on it. He feels it is a safety <br />problem for the children. <br />Mayor Carmen explained that Hickory Hill is on the list of roads <br />we are working on. He said that the Service Department has other <br />repair work along with leaf pick-up to complete, and that we are <br />working as fast as we can to get everything done. <br />Musca Property - Mr. Basile said that he attended a meeting.ear- <br />lier this evening with the attorney and architect for Tony Musca. <br />Mr. Basile said he would like Council to refer the revised plan <br />to the Planning and Zoning Commission for their review a,nd recom- <br />mendation before Council does anything about it. <br />Mayor Carmen said that Council has that option and he feels it is <br />a good idea to do so. <br />Mr. Feneli said the President of Council may refer items to the <br />Planning and Zoning Commission; a..motion from Council is not <br />necessaryo <br />1.51
