Motion Carried Expenditure Approved Second Reading of Resolution No. 87-72, entitled; "A RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONTRACT TO MORTON THIOKOL FOR THE SALE TO THE MUNICIPALITY OF ROAD SALT ON AN AS NEEDED BAS.IS :AND DECL.ARING AN EMERGENCY." Introduced by Mayor Fred N. Carmen. (First Reading 10/19/87.) Mr. Petschauer, seconded by Mr. Flynn, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council requiring a. resolution to be read on three separate occasions. Roll Call: AYES: All NAYS: None Motion Carried Rules Suspended Mr. Flynn, seconded by Mr. Petschauer, made a motion to adopt Resolution Noe 87-72. Roll Call: AYES: All NAYS: None Motion Carried Resolution Adopted First Reading of Resolution No. 87-73, entitled; "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND PRESIDENT OF COUNCIL TO EXECUTE AN ' AGREEMENT WITH THE PROGRESSIVE CORPORATION PERTAINING TO THE RELOCATION OF THE PROGRESSIVE CORPORATION DRIVEWAY AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY." Introduced by Mayor Carmen and Council as a Whole. Mayor Carmen said that he would like to see the agreement amended this evening to be contingent upon the approval of the Executive Board of the Worton Park Homeower's Association. He explained that this agreement has to do with the relocation of the drive only. He said this agreement has nothing to do with moving the building.
