t58 11i2i87 <br />Page 4 <br />Bike Path Resurfacing - Mr <br />made a motion to approve <br />the Cemetery to Sandalwood <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Petschauer, seconded by Mr. Flynn, <br />the resurfacing of the bike path from <br />in the amount of $4,578.00. <br />Motion Carried <br />Expenditure Approved <br />Second Reading of Resolution No. 87-72, entitled; "A RESOLUTION <br />AWARDING A CONTRACT TO MORTON THIOKOL FOR THE SALE TO THE <br />MUNICIPALITY OF ROAD SALT ON AN AS NEEDED BAS.IS :AND DECL.ARING AN <br />EMERGENCY." Introduced by Mayor Fred N. Carmen. (First Reading <br />10/19/87.) Mr. Petschauer, seconded by Mr. Flynn, made a motion to suspend <br />the rules of Council requiring a. resolution to be read on three <br />separate occasions. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mr. Flynn, seconded by Mr. Petschauer, made a motion to adopt <br />Resolution Noe 87-72. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Resolution Adopted <br />First Reading of Resolution No. 87-73, entitled; "A RESOLUTION <br />AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND PRESIDENT OF COUNCIL TO EXECUTE AN <br />' AGREEMENT WITH THE PROGRESSIVE CORPORATION PERTAINING TO THE <br />RELOCATION OF THE PROGRESSIVE CORPORATION DRIVEWAY AND DECLARING <br />AN EMERGENCY." Introduced by Mayor Carmen and Council as a <br />Whole. <br />Mr. Petschauer, seconded by Mr. Flynn, made a motion to suspend <br />the' rules of Council_.requiri,ng a resolu-t.ion to ,be ; read on -three <br />separate occasions. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mr. Petschauer, seconded by Mr. Flynn, made a motion to adopt <br />Resolution No. 87-73. <br />Mayor Carmen said that he would like to see the agreement amended <br />this evening to be contingent upon the approval of the Executive <br />Board of the Worton Park Homeower's Association. He explained <br />that this agreement has to do with the relocation of the drive <br />only. He said this agreement has nothing to do with moving the <br />building.
