Introduced by Council President Santo <br />Basile. (First Reading 11/2/87) <br />Second Reading of Resolution No. 87-71, entitled; "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING <br />THE PURCHASE OF A CONCORD CONVEYOR-TYPE TAILGATE BERMER FROM JONES EQUIPMENT <br />AND LEASING, INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF FOUR THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED NINETY FIVE DOL- <br />LARS ($4,995.00) AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY." Introduced by Councilman <br />I;awrence J. Flynno (First Reading 10/19/87) <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />Century 21 and Kotoch Building - Mr. Basile said that he received a letter <br />from Century 21 stating that they would like to discuss the problems regarding <br />the Kotoch building. <br />Mayor Carmen said that a meeting will be held with William Byrne of Century 21 <br />as soon as Mr. Amendola returns from vacation. He will advise Mro Basile when <br />the meeting is schedulede , , <br />Berm Work on Highland Road - Mr. Hovancsek said that the County has advised us <br />that they will be doing the work on Highland Road. <br />Mayor Carmen asked Mr. Hovancsek to send a letter to the Highland Road resi- <br />dents advising them when the work will be done. <br />Mr. Basile asked Mr. Hovancsek to check with the County to see if they would <br />clean the ditches on White Road. He asked if it would_ be possible for the <br />Village to clean the ditches if the County won't. <br />Driveway Drain-at Georgian-Center - Mrs. Martin explain that the drain had <br />been crushed from vehicles cutting the turn short when they enter the <br />driveway. She said she gave a memo to Jim Amendola asking that he check to <br />see if it can be opened. <br />Spaghetti-Company Truck - Mayor Carmen asked Mrs. Martin to ask Mr. Abate to <br />contact the owners of Spaghetti Company regarding the parking of their truck <br />in the f ront of the building. It must be parked in the back of their lot. <br />6
