185 <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF COUNCIL <br />Mayfield Village <br />December 21, 1987 <br />The Council of Mayfield Village met in Regular Session on Monday, Decem- <br />ber 21, 1987, at 8:03 p.m. in the Council Chambers at the Village Hall. <br />Council President Santo Basile presided. <br />Present: Mr. Basile, Mr. Flynn, Mrs. Mills, Mr. Petschauer, <br />and Mr. Rinker <br />Absent: None <br />Also Present Were: Mayor Carmen (8:26 p.m.), Mr. Amendola, Mr. Feneli, <br />Mr. Patrick, Firefighter Neyman, and Miss Heath. <br />OPEN PORTION <br />There were no comments. <br />CONSIDERATION OFMINUTES ' <br />Special Council Meeting of 11-16-87 - Mr. Petschauer, seconded by Mr. <br />Flynn, made a motion to approve the minutes. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Minutes Approved <br />Regular Council Meeting of 11-16-87 - Mr. Patrick, seconded by Mr. <br />Rinker, made a motion to approve the minutes, <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Minutes Approved <br />Special Council Meeting of 11-23-87 - Mr. Petschauer, seconded by Mr. <br />Rinker, made a motion to approve the minutes. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Minutes Approved <br />Special Council Meeting of 11-25-87 - Mr. Petschauer, seconded by Mr. <br />Rinker, made a motion to approve the minutes. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Minutes Approved <br />DEPARTMENT HEAD REPORTS <br />Mr. Feneli said that Council should be receiving a copy of the letter <br />that he sent to American Empire Surplus Lines regarding coverage of <br />the LaContesuit. He said.we filed a motion to dismiss. Mr. Feneli <br />said that t,he attorneys for LaConte requested an extension until <br />January 8 to file the responsive brief. He said he granted the ex- <br />tension which he feels will give us more time to discuss this matter <br />with the insurance company. He said after that, the judge will prob- <br />ably set up a formal hearing or a pre-trial to bring in the parties. <br />That will probably take another several weeks after the opposing brief <br />is filed. ,
