185 MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF COUNCIL Mayfield Village December 21, 1987 The Council of Mayfield Village met in Regular Session on Monday, Decem- ber 21, 1987, at 8:03 p.m. in the Council Chambers at the Village Hall. Council President Santo Basile presided. Present: Mr. Basile, Mr. Flynn, Mrs. Mills, Mr. Petschauer, and Mr. Rinker Absent: None Also Present Were: Mayor Carmen (8:26 p.m.), Mr. Amendola, Mr. Feneli, Mr. Patrick, Firefighter Neyman, and Miss Heath. OPEN PORTION There were no comments. CONSIDERATION OFMINUTES ' Special Council Meeting of 11-16-87 - Mr. Petschauer, seconded by Mr. Flynn, made a motion to approve the minutes. Roll Call: AYES: All NAYS: None Motion Carried Minutes Approved Regular Council Meeting of 11-16-87 - Mr. Patrick, seconded by Mr. Rinker, made a motion to approve the minutes, Roll Call: AYES: All NAYS: None Motion Carried Minutes Approved Special Council Meeting of 11-23-87 - Mr. Petschauer, seconded by Mr. Rinker, made a motion to approve the minutes. Roll Call: AYES: All NAYS: None Motion Carried Minutes Approved Special Council Meeting of 11-25-87 - Mr. Petschauer, seconded by Mr. Rinker, made a motion to approve the minutes. Roll Call: AYES: All NAYS: None Motion Carried Minutes Approved DEPARTMENT HEAD REPORTS Mr. Feneli said that Council should be receiving a copy of the letter that he sent to American Empire Surplus Lines regarding coverage of the LaContesuit. He said.we filed a motion to dismiss. Mr. Feneli said that t,he attorneys for LaConte requested an extension until January 8 to file the responsive brief. He said he granted the ex- tension which he feels will give us more time to discuss this matter with the insurance company. He said after that, the judge will prob- ably set up a formal hearing or a pre-trial to bring in the parties. That will probably take another several weeks after the opposing brief is filed. ,
