1 O6 Regular Council Meeting <br />1Ziz1iB7 <br />Page 2 <br />STANDING COMMITTEE REPORTS <br />Architectural Review Board - Mro Amendola said there was no meeting. <br />Board of Appeals - Mre Amendola said there was no meetingm <br />Cemetery - Mr. Rinker said there was no report'. <br />Commission on Aging - Mrs. Mills said that the Commission met on <br />December 14. Their last meeting was held on September 24. She said <br />that,Council received the minutes of that meeting in their packet. <br />Mrs. Mills reported that the card and craft groups meetings are con- <br />tinuing. She gave an update of the activities from October 7 to <br />December 30. Mrs. Mills said that Clarence Barton wishes to resign <br />from the Commission. The Commission members request that a Resolution <br />of Appreciation be prepared for Mr. Bartone Mrs. Mills said that the <br />Commission requests that a sign be placed above. the doorway of the <br />Community Room and/or that a sign be placed on the street to assist <br />persons locating the Community Room. <br />Finance - Mr. Petschauer said that the Committee met earlier this <br />evening. The following pieces of legislation were dis.cussed: <br />Ordinance No. 87-45, Ordinance No. 87-46, and Resolution No. 87-85. <br />Hillcrest Council of Councils - Mr. Petschauer said that there was no <br />meeting; no report. <br />M.A.R.C. - Mrs. Mills said there was no report. <br />Planning and Zoning - Mr. Basile said that Mrs. Mills attended the <br />December meeting. He said there were no items on the agenda. <br />Recreation - Mrs. Petschauer (Recreation Director - in the audience) <br />reported that over 132 pictures with Santa were taken at the annual <br />Christmas Party held on December 13. She said that the Five Mile Run <br />held during Village Days will be part of the Grand Prix sponsored by <br />Hermes this year. Mrs. Petschauer said that Recreation has expanded <br />the activities that are offered. Adult volleyball and over 30 bas- <br />ketball will begin in January. <br />Safety and Service - Mr. Basile said the committee did not meet this <br />month. <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />Ridgebury Blvd. Culvert - Mr. Feneli said that the easement was sent <br />to Mrse Dilley for her signature last week. He has not heard from her <br />yete <br />Aintree North Drainage - Mr. Feneli said that he knows of nothing new <br />since the last meeting, <br />HVAC System for Community Room - Mr. Amendola said that an advertise- <br />ment for bids was placed again. <br />Addition at Spaghetti Company - Mr. Feneli said he thought he had <br />written a letter regarding this matter. He will make copies of the <br />letter for Council.
