1 i - <br />Regular Council Meeting <br />12/21/87 <br />Page 5 <br />Mrs. Mills requested that she be provided with copies of the correspon- <br />dence from Mr. Feneli pertaining to the Codified Ordinance Review. <br />Financing of Wilson Mills Project - Mr. Patrick said that Council <br />received a copy of the fiscal officers certificate and that they are <br />aware that, we are proposing to borrow dollars to fix the water main as <br />part of the Wilson Mills Road Project. He said that the State requires <br />that they know money is being borrowed to fix the water main. They also <br />dictate that the dollars can only be used relative to the water main <br />projecte <br />Berardinelli Work on Gazebo - Mr. Petschauer, seconded by Mr. Basile, <br />made a motion to ratify the work done on the gazebo, in the amount of <br />$11,350.00. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Expenditure Approved <br />Parking Variance at 6571 Wilson Mills Road - Mayor Carmen explained that <br />the variance request was discussed at the last Caucus. He said that the <br />person requesting the variance was told that we do not generally grant <br />variances, and that the request would not be considered. <br />Permit for Political Signs - Mayor Carmen explained that he received a <br />suggestion that a fee be charged and a permit issued for these signs. <br />The fee would be minimal (about $3.00 with $1.50 returned when the signs <br />are taken down.) He said he felt that by doing this we would be able to <br />see that signs are taken down following the election. Mayor Carmen said <br />that he checked with Mr. Feneli to see if we could do this, and Mr. <br />Feneli felt the Village would be able to implement this type of policy <br />as long as it was done for all signs. <br />Mre Feneli said that the sign ordinance could be amended to include this <br />policy. <br />Engineer's Fees for 1987 Street Resurfacing Program - Mr. Feneli ex- <br />plained that a motion is not required to approve the Engineer's fees for <br />this project since his fees are covered in his contract with the Vil- <br />lage. <br />First Reading of Ordinance No. 87-45, entitled; "AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING <br />FOR THE ISSUANCE AND SALE OF 450,000 OF NOTES OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, <br />IN ANTICIPATION OF THE ISSUANCE OF BONDS TO PAY COSTS OF CONSTRUCTING, <br />IN COOPERATION WITH CUYAHOGA COUNTY, WATER MAINS, TOGETHER WITH THE <br />NECESSARY APPURTENANCES THERETO, IN WILSON MILLS ROAD FROM S.O.M. CENTER <br />ROAD TO THE WESTERLY CORPORATE LIMITS AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY." In- <br />troduced by Mayor Fred N.
