Regular Council Meeting <br />12/21/87 <br />Page 6 <br />Mr. Petschauer, seconded by Mr. Basile, made a motion'to' enact Ordinance No. <br />87-45.Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />. Ordinance Enacted <br />First Reading of Resolution No. 87-84, entitled; "A RESOLUTION RATIFYING THE <br />AUTHORIZED EXTRA EXPENDITURES IN THE CONTRACT PREVIOUSLY AWARDED TO THE <br />HORVITZ COMPANY FOR THE RESURFACING OFCERTAIN STREETS WITHIN THE <br />MUNICIPALITY, AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF FINANCE TO PAY SUCH AUTHORIZED EXTRA <br />EXPENDITURE AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY." Introduced by Mayor Fred N. Carmen. <br />Mr. Flynn, seconded by Mr. Petschauer, made a motion to suspend the rules of <br />Council requiring a resolution to be read on three separate occasions. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mr. Flynn, seconded by Mr. Petschauer, made a motion to adopt Resolution No. <br />87-84. <br />Mayor Carmen said that a number of items were brought up at the pre- <br />construction conference that we were unaware of when the project was bid. He <br />said a check was made ofthe areas and that 'everything was completed <br />satisfactorily. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Resolution 6dopted <br />First Reading of Resolution No. 87-85, entitled; "A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE <br />CUYAHOGA COUNTY AUDITOR TO ADVANCE TAXES FROM THE PROCEEDS OF TAX LEVIES AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY."
