l,O <br />Regular Council Meeting <br />1/21/91 <br />Page 4 <br />Sign Ordinance -(conrinued) <br />Mr. Ramos said that 60 days prior to the deadline a certified letter must be mailed if they have not <br />complied by that date. Mayor Carmen, Council, and Mr. Ramos agreed that letters should be sent <br />by March lst. <br />Upner 40 Update - Mr. Hovancsek said he met with representatives from U.R.S. Consultants and <br />the Metroparks lst week. He said a meeting will be held this Wednesday at 2 p.m. to review this <br />matter. Anyone is welcome to attend. Mr. Hovancsek said he spoke to Burgess and Niple. As <br />soon as we receive direction from this report we will forwazd a copy to them so they can complete <br />their study. He said they have indicated they will move rapidly as soon as they get direction from <br />this report. <br />Mr. Rinker said we have set up a new "Standing Committee" for Water District. No meeting date <br />has been set yet. Mr. Rinker asked Mr. Hovancsek to be a part of that committee. Mr. Rinker <br />said that Mr. Flynn and Mrs. Mills have been appointed to that committee; he is also a part of the <br />committee. Mr. Rinker said if anyone is available Wednesday at 2 p.m., he suggests they attend <br />the meering Steve menrioned. <br />Snow Removal Update - Mr. Basile said that Progressive Landscape is still doing just one pass on <br />some driveways. <br />Mr. Flynn suggested that different colored stakes be used at the residences with gravel drives. <br />Mayor Carmen agreed to call them Wednesday. <br />Incinerator Permit - Mr. Rinker said this item will be discussed at the next Ordinance Review <br />Committee meeting. <br />Mr. Ramos asked Council to send letters to the EPA about the furnace. He explained that it is his <br />understanding that they will not grant a hearing unless a sufficient number of people have made <br />them awaze of their complaints. He asked everyone to please advise him of the names of anyone <br />who might have complained about the incinerator. He will send them form letters which they can, <br />if they wish, send to EPA so that we may be able to get a hearing. <br />Ord. 90-47 - Public HearinLy Feb. 4. 1991 - Mr. Rinker said he would like to remind everyone that <br />there a Public Hearing is set for February 4. <br />Ridgeb ,ury Blvd. - Mr. Hovancsek said the project is being bid out this winter by the County <br />Engineer. He suggests that cold patch be used in certain areas as a temporary measure. He <br />explained that once they start the work it will be their responsibility to maintain it. <br />Water District leg,islation -(URS to provide samples) - Mr. Rinker said that legislation used before <br />will provide a starting point for discussion. <br />Mr. Ramos said that one Ordinance is regarding Chapter 937 from the City of Forest Park and it is <br />where they have attached a set of rules. He said it is the opinion of URS that we do this version <br />rather than the other version. He said he will provide both copies to Council so they have a chance <br />to look at both versions. He will also make a copy for Mr. Hovancsek. He will bring the copies <br />with him Wednesday night (for the Ordinance Review meeting.)
