? <br />Regular Council Meeting <br />1/21/91 <br />Page 3 <br />M.A.R.C. - Mr. Rinker said they did not meet this month. Mrs. Cinco said the elecrion of officers <br />will take place at the next meeting. <br />Ordinance Review Committee - Mr. Rinker said they will meet Wednesday. An agenda will be <br />included in the Council packets this Friday. <br />Plannin,g and Zoning - Mr. Basile reported that Mr. Schulte was elected Chairman; Dorothy Martin <br />elected Secretary. Mr. Basile said the Commission reviewed the preliminary site plan for Village <br />Trails and approved it contingent upon sewer approval. They recommend that Council approve the <br />preliminary site plan. Discussion was also held regarding the additional buildings proposed for <br />731 and 6670 Beta Drive. Mr. Basile said the Commission also recommends that Council enact <br />Ordinance 90-47. <br />Recreation - Mr. Pietrafese said they met last Wednesday. He said they had a small turnout <br />(because of the onset of the war). He said the Board has two new members: Pat Andrzejczyk and <br />Shelly Kovacevic. Mayor Carmen said he had planned to attend the meering but did not because he <br />wanted to watch the news about the war. Mr. Pietrafese said they might have another meeting <br />before the next regular-scheduled meeting to elect the new officers. <br />Mr. Pietrafese asked Mr. Patrick if he could filter the report given to Recreation into English; <br />simplify it for the Recreation Board. <br />Safety and Service - Mrs. Cinco said the Committee met January 14. They discussed the Heinen's <br />incinerator and received an update on the sodium lights. They also discussed the police car, and <br />computer equipment for the Police Department. Other topics for discussion included repairs of <br />Oakwood and Walnut, Ridgebury, and Beecher's Brook. Regarding the Service Department, <br />mowers are being repaired. <br />Mr. Pietrafese asked Mr. Patrick if he could filter the report given to Recrearion into English; <br />simplify it for the Recreation Board. <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />Wilson Mills Drainage Structure - NIr. Flynn said he looked at the drawings and the manhole <br />appears to be 8' deep. <br />Mr. Hovancsek explained the work to be done which consists of three different elements. A <br />connection pipe must be installed to rebuild the existing inlet which has collapsed. <br />Sien Ordinance (Ord. 85-16) Compliance/Notification - Mr. Rinker said he will bring this item up <br />in Ordinance Review. He asked Council members to let Donna know if they need copies of the <br />ordinance. <br />Mr. Ramos said the Planning and Zoning Commission, at their workshop, reviewed the list of <br />signs not in compliance accordingly to Mr. Amendola. He said that a letter must be sent no later <br />than April lst, 1991, to all businesses telling them of the deadline for compliance which is July 21, <br />1991. At that point if we get requests from businesses asking not to comply or requesting <br />extensions, we must determine whether or not to grant a Special Use Permit or variance.
