<br />MINUTES OF TBE REGULAR MEETING OF COUNCIL <br />February 18, 1991 <br />8 p.m. <br />The Council of Mayfield Village met in Regular Session on Monday, February 18, 1991 at eight <br />o'clock p.m. (8 p.m.) in the Council Chambers at the Mayfield Village Ha11. Council President <br />Bruce Rinker presided. <br />The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was given. <br />ROLL CALL: Present: Mrs. Cinco, Mr. Flynn, Mrs. Mills, Mr. Pietrafese, and Mr. Rinker <br />Absent: Mr. Basile, and Mr. Ferrante <br />Also Present Were: Mayor Carmen, Mr. Amendola, Mr. Hovancsek, Lt. Jay, Lt. Neyman, <br />Mr. Patrick, Mr. Ramos, and Miss Heath. <br />CONSIDERATION OF 1VIINUTES: <br />Regular Council Meering - Januarv 21, 1991 - Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a <br />motion to approve the minutes. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Morion Carried <br />Minutes Approved <br />Snecial Meeting of Council - FebruarX4, 1991 - Mrs. Mills, seconded by W. Flynn, made a <br />motion to approve the minutes. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Minutes Approved <br />CONIlVIENTS FROM MAYOR CARMEN <br />Mayor Carmen expressed thanks to Carole Page who, through Operation Orange Support, <br />decorated the gazebo. He said they did a specta.culaz job. Members of Operarion Orange Support <br />will be giving out orange bows to residents so they can show their support to our troops in the <br />Persian Gulf, on Saturday, February 23, and Sunday, February 24, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the <br />Council Chambers. . <br />Mayor Carmen said he spent quite a bit of time on the telephone this weekend regarding the senior <br />snow plowing service. He said that residents called to say they were not being plowed in a timely <br />fashion. When he checked with Progressive Landscape about it, they said they had some <br />equipment problems which apparently caused part of the problem, Mayor Carmen said we may <br />want to consider this when we award the contract next year. <br />DEPARTMENT HEAD REPORTS <br />Mr. Patrick reported that the State Auditors have arrived and are audiring us for the fiscal year of <br />1990.
