MINUTES OF TBE REGULAR MEETING OF COUNCIL February 18, 1991 8 p.m. The Council of Mayfield Village met in Regular Session on Monday, February 18, 1991 at eight o'clock p.m. (8 p.m.) in the Council Chambers at the Mayfield Village Ha11. Council President Bruce Rinker presided. The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was given. ROLL CALL: Present: Mrs. Cinco, Mr. Flynn, Mrs. Mills, Mr. Pietrafese, and Mr. Rinker Absent: Mr. Basile, and Mr. Ferrante Also Present Were: Mayor Carmen, Mr. Amendola, Mr. Hovancsek, Lt. Jay, Lt. Neyman, Mr. Patrick, Mr. Ramos, and Miss Heath. CONSIDERATION OF 1VIINUTES: Regular Council Meering - Januarv 21, 1991 - Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to approve the minutes. ROLL CALL: AYES: All NAYS: None Morion Carried Minutes Approved Snecial Meeting of Council - FebruarX4, 1991 - Mrs. Mills, seconded by W. Flynn, made a motion to approve the minutes. ROLL CALL: AYES: All NAYS: None Motion Carried Minutes Approved CONIlVIENTS FROM MAYOR CARMEN Mayor Carmen expressed thanks to Carole Page who, through Operation Orange Support, decorated the gazebo. He said they did a specta.culaz job. Members of Operarion Orange Support will be giving out orange bows to residents so they can show their support to our troops in the Persian Gulf, on Saturday, February 23, and Sunday, February 24, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the Council Chambers. . Mayor Carmen said he spent quite a bit of time on the telephone this weekend regarding the senior snow plowing service. He said that residents called to say they were not being plowed in a timely fashion. When he checked with Progressive Landscape about it, they said they had some equipment problems which apparently caused part of the problem, Mayor Carmen said we may want to consider this when we award the contract next year. DEPARTMENT HEAD REPORTS Mr. Patrick reported that the State Auditors have arrived and are audiring us for the fiscal year of 1990.
