2 6 <br />Regular Council Meeting <br />2/18/91 <br />Page Two <br />STANDING COMMITTEE REPORTS <br />Architectural Review Board - Mr. Amendola said the Board met and rejected one set of plans <br />because they were completely out of scale. They accepted one drawing for an addition to a house. <br />Board of Appeals - Mr. Amendola said the Board was not required to meet <br />Cemeterv - Mrs. Cinco said the Auditors have arrived and are doing the years 1989 and 1990. <br />Cirizen's Advisorv Committee - Mr. Pietrafese said they met January 28 and discussed the gazebo <br />lighting costs, flooding problems, sign compliance, the Heinen's incinerator problem, the gazebo <br />walkway and snow plowing. <br />Commission on A ing - Mrs. Mills said the Commission on Aging held their annual luncheon for <br />employees on February 11. It was very nice. On March 7 they will be playing miniature golf on <br />Alpha Park Dive. <br />Finance - Mr. Flynn said they discussed the municipal complex. Council has not received as much <br />input as they would like. They would like a written report from Rauschenbach, Casini, and Urban <br />stating to date what they have accomplished, etc. Mr. Flynn said the committee requests that <br />Ordinance 91-04 be placed on first reading tonight. The Finance Director must talk to the Engineer <br />and get down the mechanics of the ordinance. They recommend moving ahead with the revised <br />edirion of Ordinance 91-05 and with the legislation to approve the expendinue of $2,500 to the <br />Historical Society. They urge Council to move ahead with Resolution 91-18 this evening and the <br />resolution regarding the Wilson Mills Road drainage structure. The Finance Committee <br />recommends moving ahead with the $5,000 to S.P.A.N. by motion this evening. The Committee <br />also discussed the police computer and printer and the backbone radio system, and Resolution No. <br />91-15 regarding the change order for A&J. <br />Mr. Flynn expressed thanks to Mr. Flynn, Mr. Patrick, and Mrs. Mills for spending three hours <br />here Thursday evening going over the wage and benefit requests from employees. <br />Hillcrest Council of Councils - Mrs. Mills said there was no meeting. <br />Historical Societv - Mrs. Cinco said the restoration work is continuing on the first floor. They <br />work Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. There is an Art Show May 15 - 19 in the Mayfield Village <br />Community Room. <br />M.A.R.C. - Mrs. Cinco said that they met February 7 and discussed the ski and floor hockey <br />programs. She announced the slate of 1991 officers. Their next meeting will be held March 7. <br />Ordinance Review - Mr. Rinker said they discussed Ordinance No. 90-44. Council will be <br />updated later on the status of the action from the EPA in Columbus. T'he committee also discussed <br />Ordinance No. 85-16 (signs) and those businesses which must meet compliance by summer have <br />been notified. Mr. Rinker said there should be some update tonight on Upper 40. They also <br />discussed the legislarion regarding the transportation of solid waste. The Ordinance Review <br />Committee will meet again next Wednesday. An agenda will be included in the Council packets <br />this week.
