27 <br />Regulaz Council Meeting <br />2/18/91 <br />Page Three <br />Planning and Zoning - Mr. Fietrafese said they met February 4. They discussed the office building <br />at 731 Beta Drive, sign ordinance compliance, and Fisher's Tavern in now under new <br />management. <br />Mr. Ramos said the Fisher's Tavern case was dismissed on the l lth. <br />Recreation - Mr. Pietrafese said the meering was cancelled for January 20. They are looking <br />forward to the new meeting on February 20. <br />Mr. Rinker said there will be a Village Days meeting at 7 p.m. that same evening. <br />Safetv and Service - Mrs. Cinco said the committee met February 4. They discussed the police car <br />purchase, the increase of the Village's contriburion to S.P.A.N. and Resolution 91-13, the hiring <br />of an additional patrolman, and the 420 radio license. <br />Water District Committee - Mrs. Mills said their last meeting was held February 7 at Mr. <br />Hovancsek's office with URS and a representative from the Park Board. T'hey are now wairing <br />for a final report. <br />Mr. Hovancsek said they discussed the report and various alternatives that 17RS submitted to the ` <br />municipality. We requested some minor changes and we have not received a revised report to date; <br />a plan is to be in our hands this week. <br />Mr. Hovancsek said that the report on Upper 40 should be ready in about two weeks. He guesses <br />we will have a response from the Metroparks by the first of April. <br />Mrs. Mills said that another meeting will be scheduled until we receive the information on the <br />dollars. - <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />Upper 40/Water District - Mr. Rinker said this was already discussed. <br />Heinen's Incinerator - Mr. Ramos, said that on February 8 Heinens was granted a permit to operate <br />the incinerator. He said that if anyone wants to object, they have 30 days to file an objection. Mr. <br />Ramos said that he gave Council a form letter about two weeks ago for their use and to give to <br />other residents who have objections on the renewal of the pernut. They could use this letter or <br />write their own. Mr. Ramos said he would like to send them to the Ohio EPA Friday. He <br />suggested that everyone drop off their letters to Donna. He will pick them up and send them in one <br />packet because he thinks it would be better to send them together. If necessary, some could be <br />sent under separate cover. <br />Wilson Mills Drainap-e Structure - Update on Bids Received - Mr. Hovancsek said that bids were <br />receiveri Friday. The low bid was from D D D Enterprises and he recommends that Council award <br />the contract to them. He explained that the job will require flagmen and good equipment. Mr. <br />Hovancsek said that we need to get an signed easement from Lou Marino which will give us the <br />right to work on that property. He said that the project will start within 5 days after the contract is <br />signed. The easement is verbally acceptable but it was impossible to get it executed because Mr. <br />Marino was out of town. The project has a 60-day completion date.
