44 <br />Special Council Meeting <br />3/4/91 <br />Page Six <br />Mr. Silk thanked Mayor Carmen and Council for allowing them to speak. <br />Mr. Rinker aslced if there were any other rnatters for the special meeting. <br />Council went into Executive Session at 8:30 p.m. to discuss personnel matters. <br />Council reconvened at 9:10 p.m. <br />Mayor Cannen said we are going to hold band concerts at the Gazebo on Thursday nights. We <br />were able to get a better rate with the Musicians Union by booking a"package": Mayor Carmen <br />read the list of people are lined up to play and the costs associated with the concert package. He <br />said that since the bands tend to be booked quickly, we should try to lock them in. <br />Mr. Pietrafese, seconded by Mr. Ferrante, made a morion to accept the concerts as proposed in the <br />amount of $3,017. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Authorization Given <br />Mayor Carmen asked Donna to check on rain dates, if we will be able to get a refund or a rebate or <br />re-scheduled. <br />Mayor Carmen menrioned that we will also be holding a Battle of the Bands. Donna to check the <br />dates with Joanne Cinco to see if there could be a conflict with Graduarion Weekend. Donna to <br />include a copy of the band concert list in Council's packet on Friday. <br />Mr. Rinker asked if there was any further discussion. <br />Mr. Ramos stated that for purposes of the record, Resolution 91-23 is actually Ordinance 91-07. <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Ferrante, made a motion to adjourn. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Morion Carried <br />n? • <br />FRED N.
