62 <br />Itegular Council Meering <br />April 15, 1991 <br />Page Two <br />DEPARTMENT HEAD REPORTS : <br />Mr. Patrick said he would like to recognize and thank Cheryl Garinger for the outstanding job she <br />has done during the month of March while the other member of the office was out on maternity <br />leave. He said everything was proceeding smoothly thanks to Cheryl. <br />STANDING COMMITTEE REPORTS <br />Architectural Review Board - Mr. Amendola said the Board met and approved a single-family <br />home, a deck, fence, and three additions. <br />Board of Anveals - Mr. Amendola said they were not required to meet this month. <br />Cemeterv - Mrs. Cinco said there was no report. <br />Citizen's Advisory Committee - Mr. Pietrafese said the Committee met March 25 and discussed the <br />following items: the Heinen's incinerator, snow plowing, Village signs, plastic recycling, manual <br />needed for new home owners regarding setback of trees, swales, etc. <br />Mr. Rinker said that Mark Fixler sent Council a letter regarding the need for some type of format of <br />keeping uniformity within Mayfield Village. <br />Commission on Adng - Mrs. Mills said the Commission on Aging will hold their Anniversary <br />Party on May 11 at 12:30. All Golden Agers are welcome. <br />Finance - Mr. Flynn said the committee discussed and recommended approval of the following: <br />Ordinances 91-09, 91-12, 91-33, 91-36. Mr. Flynn said the bids were received for the sale of the <br />1985 Chevrolet Impala (former Fire car), and the Ford Crown Victoria (former Police car.) The <br />committee recommends moving forward with the $300 bid on the Chevrolet and the $2,475 bid on <br />the Ford. Mr. Flynn said the committee also recommends approval of the postage meter and scale <br />for $3,980. He said there will be a Special Meeting on Apri129 to move ahead with the salary <br />ordinance. <br />Hillcrest Council of Council - Mr. Ferrante said there was no report. <br />Historical SocietX - Mrs. Cinco said the sub-flooring in the historical house and the outline of the <br />memorial brick path has been started. The horticultural students will be preparing the grounds at <br />the historical house for Arbor Day. The Arbor Day ceremony will be held on Apri126; all are <br />welcome to attend. <br />Mrs. Mills reported that the Mayfield Village Garden Club has recently won 4 awards: the BP <br />Award, two National Awards and a State Award. The Village is very proud of the Club. <br />M.A.R.C. - Mrs. Cinco said there was no April meeting; no report. <br />Ordinance Review - Mr. Rinker said the Committee will meet on Apri129 at 7 p.m. (prior to the <br />Special Meeting scheduled for 8 p.m.)
