74 <br />Special Council Meeting <br />4/29/91 <br />Page Four <br />ItOLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAXS: None <br /> <br />Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Basile, made a motion to adopt Resolution No. 91-38. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Morion Carrieci <br />Resolurion Adopted <br />First Reading of Resolution No. 91-39, entitled; "A resolution of appreciation to the Gates Mills <br />Horticultural School for their contribution to the Historical Home site. Introduced by Mayor <br />Carmen and Council as a Whole. <br />Mr. Pietrafese arrived at this time (8:17 p.m.) <br />Mr. Basile, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a rzlotion to made a motion to adopt Resolution No. <br />91-39. <br />Mrs. Mills she believes this is the first time we have recognized the Horticultural School for their <br />work. They have done a lot of work at the fTistorical House. Mrs. Mills said the Horticultural <br />School, located in Gates Mills, encompasses'about nine different school districts. Children are <br />taught all aspects of flower arranging and horticulture. The Horticultural Center is holding an open <br />house on May 8 at 7 p.m. All are welcome <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Morion Cazried <br />Rules Suspended <br />First Reading of Resolurion No. 91-40, entitled; "A resolution establishing the compensation of the <br />Recreation Coordinator for 1991 and declaring an emergency." Introduced by Mayor Carmen anci <br />Council as a Whole. <br />Mr. Basile, seconded by Mr. Flynn, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council requiring a <br />resolution to be read on three separate occasions. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Morion Canied <br />Rules Suspended <br />1VIr. Basile, seconded by Mrs. Mills, made a motion to adopt Resolution No. 91-40. <br />ROLL CAI,L: AYES: None <br />NAYS: All <br />Morion Carried <br />Resolurion Defeated <br />Mr. Basile said he would like to amend the agenda to include items from the Planning and Zoning <br />Workshop concerning sign ordinance compliance and also on Man's Hair (request for variance.)
