96 <br />Special Council Meeting <br />6/3/91 Page Two <br />Mrs. Mills said she has no problem with hiring Mr. Panzica. <br />Mr. Pietrafese said he would like to have Mr. Ramos review the two proposals (in considerarion of <br />Drake.) <br />Mr. Basile said he feels the same way. <br />Mr. Flynn said he had already expressed his opinion. <br />Mr. Pietrafese asked if Mr. Ramos could review the proposals now. <br />Mr. Flynn said he thinks it would look better to see a written vote that Council was unanunous in <br />their decision to move ahead with a construcrion manager. <br />Mr. Rinker said unless a member of Council has doubts with Mr. Panzica's ability to perform the <br />job, he could not see a reason to consider another firm. <br />Discussion was held. <br />Mayor Carmen said that Mr. Panzica is in the Village so he will do a good job. Mayor Carmen <br />said he has faith and conf'idence in Mr. Panzica and that he has nothing against Drake <br />Construction. Mr. Ramos read the legislation in rifle as follows: <br />First Reading of Resolurion No. 91-47, enrided; "A Resolution authorizing the Mayor and <br />President of Council to enter into an agreement with Panzica Construction as approved by the Law <br />Director for construcrion manager services in connection with the municipal complex and declaring <br />an emergency." Introduced by Mayor Carmen and members of Council. <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Ferrante, made a morion to suspend the rules of Council requiring a <br />resolution to be read on three separate occasions. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: Mrs. Cinco, Mr. Ferrante, Mr. Flynn, Mrs. Mills, Mr. Pietrafese, and <br />Mr. Rinker. <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />12ules Suspended <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a morion to adopt Resolution No. 91-47. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: Mrs. Cinco, Mr. Ferrante, Mr. Flynn, Mrs. Mills, Mr. Pietrafese, and <br />Mr. Rinker. <br />NAYS: Mr. Basile, Mr. Flynn Morion Carried <br />Resolution Adopted <br />Mr. Rinker asked if Council would recess into Executive Session at this rime to discuss litigation <br />matters.
