4?_ 60 <br />Regular Council Meeting 9/16/91 <br />Page Two <br />STANDIN t COMMITTEE REPORTS <br />Architectural Review Board - Mr. Amendola reported the Board met and approved three decks, <br />two room additions, a gazebo, and two accessory buildings. <br />Board of Appeals - Mr. Amendola said there was a second meeting regarding Sublot 36 in <br />Hardwood Court. The Board granted a variance for an addirional five feet (for a total of 20 feet.) <br />Mr. Ramos explained that all property owners at the meeting were represented by attorneys. The <br />Board made the decision which anyone can appeal within 30 days. Then, it would have to go to <br />the Court of Common Pleas. Mr. Ramos said he does not know if the issue is still alive. <br />mete - Mrs. Cinco said there was no report. <br />Cirizen's Advisory Board - Mr. Pietrafese said the Board met August 26. Topics covered include <br />Fisher's Tavern, Heinen's Incinerator, Panzica contract, Trick-or-Treat hours, the Hanover Woods <br />sign, and other miscellaneous matters. The group would like to lrnow why Wiley field is being <br />used by an outside group at no charge and why the lights are being turned on between 8-10 p.m. <br />Mondays and Wednesdays. <br />Commission on AR-ing - Mrs. Mills said their last picnic at Wiley Park will be held September 30 at <br />4:30 p.m. They will continue to have their craft and card parties every Tuesday at the Community <br />Room. <br />Finance - Mr. Flynn said the committee mef tonight. They recommend approval of the following: <br />Resolurions 91-76, 91-80, 91-78; Ordinance 91-43. They would like Resolution No. 91-77 to be <br />tabled or kept on first reading. Mr. Flynn said they recommend approval of the expenditure not to <br />exceed $3,500 for repair to the John Deer Vehicle. <br />Mr. Flynn askeri if the section on Beta Drive (at 731 Beta) was included in the original contract <br />awarded to Vandra. Construction. <br />Mr. Hovancselc said yes. <br />Hillcrest Council of Councils - Mr. Fenante said there was no report. <br />Historical Societv - Mrs. Cinco said the memorial brick walk has been completed but bricks may <br />be added. The Ice Cream Social was a great success; over 200 people attended. The raffle quilt <br />was won by Helen Telshaw from Highland Heights. Work has begun on the hearse room in the <br />historical house. <br />M.A.R.C. - Mrs. Cinco said they met September 5. The fall art show was canceled because of the <br />unavailability of a municipal hall. Next year the show will be held at Highland Heights; the <br />following year at Mayfield Heights. <br />Mrs. Cinco said other communiries aze endorsing the school levies. <br />Mr. Rinker suggested endorsement of the school levies be included on the next Council Caucus <br />agenda.
