4?_ 60 Regular Council Meeting 9/16/91 Page Two STANDIN t COMMITTEE REPORTS Architectural Review Board - Mr. Amendola reported the Board met and approved three decks, two room additions, a gazebo, and two accessory buildings. Board of Appeals - Mr. Amendola said there was a second meeting regarding Sublot 36 in Hardwood Court. The Board granted a variance for an addirional five feet (for a total of 20 feet.) Mr. Ramos explained that all property owners at the meeting were represented by attorneys. The Board made the decision which anyone can appeal within 30 days. Then, it would have to go to the Court of Common Pleas. Mr. Ramos said he does not know if the issue is still alive. mete - Mrs. Cinco said there was no report. Cirizen's Advisory Board - Mr. Pietrafese said the Board met August 26. Topics covered include Fisher's Tavern, Heinen's Incinerator, Panzica contract, Trick-or-Treat hours, the Hanover Woods sign, and other miscellaneous matters. The group would like to lrnow why Wiley field is being used by an outside group at no charge and why the lights are being turned on between 8-10 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays. Commission on AR-ing - Mrs. Mills said their last picnic at Wiley Park will be held September 30 at 4:30 p.m. They will continue to have their craft and card parties every Tuesday at the Community Room. Finance - Mr. Flynn said the committee mef tonight. They recommend approval of the following: Resolurions 91-76, 91-80, 91-78; Ordinance 91-43. They would like Resolution No. 91-77 to be tabled or kept on first reading. Mr. Flynn said they recommend approval of the expenditure not to exceed $3,500 for repair to the John Deer Vehicle. Mr. Flynn askeri if the section on Beta Drive (at 731 Beta) was included in the original contract awarded to Vandra. Construction. Mr. Hovancselc said yes. Hillcrest Council of Councils - Mr. Fenante said there was no report. Historical Societv - Mrs. Cinco said the memorial brick walk has been completed but bricks may be added. The Ice Cream Social was a great success; over 200 people attended. The raffle quilt was won by Helen Telshaw from Highland Heights. Work has begun on the hearse room in the historical house. M.A.R.C. - Mrs. Cinco said they met September 5. The fall art show was canceled because of the unavailability of a municipal hall. Next year the show will be held at Highland Heights; the following year at Mayfield Heights. Mrs. Cinco said other communiries aze endorsing the school levies. Mr. Rinker suggested endorsement of the school levies be included on the next Council Caucus agenda.
