224. <br />Regular Council Meeting <br />12/16/91 <br />Page Four <br />Historical Societv - Mrs. Cinco said the hearse room is nearing completion. The annual <br />potluck dinner was held December 7. The Turkey Raffle was well-attended. The proceeds <br />($1,200) will be applied toward the historical house. <br />M.A.R.C. - Iv1rs. Cinco said they did not meet. Their next meeting will be held January 9. <br />Ordinance Review Committee - Mr. Rinker said the committee will meet in January. <br />Planning and Zoning - Mr. Basile said they met December 2. They recommend that <br />Council grant a variance to the Mayfield United Methodist Church for their sign. They <br />reviewed a consolidated lot split proposal for Village Plaza and recommend that be tabled. <br />Recreation - Mr. Pietrafese said the Board met November 20. The craft show is to be held <br />the Saturday after Thanksgiving. <br />1VIrs. Cinco said that N1r. Amendola should contact her husband for a price for pvc pipe for <br />the maze. <br />IVIayor Carmen said he understands that the Recreation Board wants to make the maze an <br />annual event. He feels that whatever the number is this year it should be a better number <br />next year. <br />Mr. Pietrafese said the playground is on hold. He said they are srill waiting on fliers to <br />come back regarding the day camp. Mr. Pietrafese reported the Christmas Party was a <br />great success. He thinks Santa being on the truck was an added attraction. He said the <br />1992 calendar was discussed. <br />Safetv and Service - Mrs. Cinco said they met December 2. They asked Chief Mohr to get <br />the information to the Councilpeople by Wednesday. Mrs. Cinco asked Donna to let Chief <br />Mohr lrnow Council will be holding a meeting on the 30th. They are also concerned with <br />the Civil Service list. <br />QLD BUSINESS <br />Mr. Basile, seconded by Mr. Ferrante, made a morion to amend the agenda to include Ecto <br />and the doors to the Community Room. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Morion Carried <br />Agenda Amended <br />Ecto - Mayor Carmen explained that in order to know whether we needed to go out for bids <br />or not, we asked Deacon's if the car had a value under $1,000. Their letter said it is <br />$1,000. Mayor Carmen said he will have to invest dollars to get it running. He said <br />Deacon's next esrimate was in the amount $400. <br />Discussion was held. <br />Mr. Rinker said he thinks Council should decide if they feel Mayfield Village should hang <br />onto the vehicle and to incur the costs associated with it.
