20 <br />Regular Council Meeting <br />1/17/94 <br />Page Twelve <br />First Reading of Ordinance No. 94-2, "entitled; An emergency ordinance establishing the <br />compensation of the Recreation Coordinator for 1994." Introduced by Mayor Rinker <br />and Council as a Whole. <br />Mr. Busa, seconded by Mr. Ferrante, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council <br />requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mr. Busa, seconded by Mr. Fixler, made a motion to enact Ordinance No. 94-2. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried , <br />Ordinance Enacted <br />First Reading of Ordinance No. 94-3, entitled, "An emergency ordinance authorizing <br />and directing the Mayor to renew and execute an agreement with the County Regional <br />Information Systems (CRIS)." Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole. <br />Mr. Ferrante, seconded by Mr. Busa, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council <br />requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mr. Busa, seconded by Mr. Fixler, made a motion to enact Ordinance No. 94-3. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Enacted <br />Mrs. Kalina (in the audience), asked if there is a difference (in the legislation for the <br />contract employees) between re-establishing the compensation and establishing the <br />compensation. <br />Mr. Diemert explained that there is no difference--no reason why the ordinances were <br />written that way. All of the original ordinances were done at different times by <br />different people and then carried on.
