Introduced by Mayor
Rinker and Council as a Whole.
Mr. Ferrante, seconded by Mr. Busa, made a motion to adopt Resolution No. 94-1.
Mrs. Cinco said she knows they have already told us that they are looking to use
Andrews Lane, but she still wants to urge Council to vote on this. We will still pass this
along to N.E.O.R.S.D.
Mr. Hovancsek said he was asked by Mayor Rinker and Council to do something to
take a positive action with the Regional Sewer District. This is the one thing he felt
would be a positive action. In light of that, he thinks it is something that will get their -
attention.
Mr. Flynn said this will also get it on the record.
ROLL CALL: AYES: All
NAYS: None Motion Carried
Resolution Adopted
First Reading of Resolution No. 94-2, entitled; "An emergency resolution urging the
Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District to delete the Bonnieview Holding Tank area
structure demolition and regrading of the area from the Hilltop Interceptor Contract
H-2 and add the work to the Bonnieview Intercommunity Relief Sewer Project."
Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole.
Mr. Hovancsek said he was asked if there was any way to get the material to be hauled
to the site and the Bonnieview Holding Tank debris demolition to be removed from the
site other than taking Bonnieview or Beech Hill roads. The answer would be to use a
haul road on the Andrews Lane property. This is not quite as simple as the other
resolution because we do not know what the contractor bid on the unit price to
demolish the existing facility and to regrade the area. If he bid it at a very low price, it
will not be to the District's advantage to delete it from this present H-2 contract. If he
bid it at a high price, perhaps it would be to their advantage to get it on the next
contract where it could be much lower. That is a decision the District would have to
