132 <br />Regular Council Meeting <br />4/18/94 , <br />Page Ten <br />Law DeDartment - Mr. Diemert said he will be happy to turn over to the Mayor and <br />Council the check sent to us by the insurance company for the fire hydrant that was <br />damaged. <br />Lt. Porter said this must be for the hydrant by the school drive. <br />Activities Committee - Mayor Rinker said the committee is meeting tomorrow night. <br />They are trying to wrap things up for the Pancake Breakfast and '50s Night. He <br />explained we are trying to work out a logo for t-shirts to sell at the event ['50s Night] <br />and for the staff to wear. The fireworks will be July 2. Then we will look to the picnic. <br />Architectural Review Board - Mr. Samac reported the A.R.B. met on Apri114. They <br />addressed a118 items on the agenda. The next meeting is Apri128. <br />Board of Appeals - Mr. Samac said contrary to the notice you probably received, the <br />Board of Appeals did not hold a meeting. The single applicant withdrew his <br />application. <br />Ce? - Mr. Stephens reported the new trustees will meet on Wednesday. He said <br />we will discuss restructuring the operation. We will put it to three communities after <br />that meeting. <br />Mrs. Mills (in the audience) reported that the Garden Club and the Historical Society <br />will be planting flowers around the Mayfield Union Cemetery marker. <br />Citizen's Advisory Board - Mayor Rinker said they are trying to work together with <br />Ordinance Review and the Building Department to look at ways to upgrade and <br />improve various code requirements. <br />Commission on Aging - Miss Heath read Mr. Busa's report (submitted by Eunice <br />Kalina.) Members of the Senior Gentry attended No, No, Nanette on March 10. They <br />enjoyed a miniature golf outing and lunch on March 17. Tomorrow, the card group will <br />enjoy a program by second graders from Lander Road School and a presentation by a <br />member of the Mayfield Committee for Quality Education regarding the school levy <br />and bond issue. Future activities include the Anniversary Party May 21 and a trip to <br />Ohio Light Opera on June 29. <br />
