<br />133 <br />Regular Council Meeting , <br />4/18/94 <br />Page Eleven Safety and Service - Mr. Ferrante asked if anyone could report [since Mark was absent.] <br />Mr. Brett said they discussed the possibility of an evidence room and specifications on <br />the truck among other things. <br />Finance Committee - Mr. Ferrante said the Finance Committee discussed Ordinances <br />? 94-26, 94-24, 94-28 and Resolution No. 94-22 and recommends approval by Council. He <br />? asked Mr. Amendola to tell us what the Thornapple repairs is for. Q Mr. Amendola said it is for the two water breaks that occurred on the concrete street. <br />? Mr. Hovancsek gave us the cost figure on it and we are waiting for it to be approved. <br />? Mr. Ferrante said the Finance Committee recommends approval on the $7,000 [for <br />repair to Thornapple Drive.] The committee recommends approval of $6,000 for <br />Fireworks on July 2 with $1,000 of that coming from Gates Mills. They recommend <br />authorization for the Mayor to purchase $2,745 of computer equipment to facilitate the <br />implementation of a Local Area Network of computer equipment. Mr. Ferrante said <br />they did not know what to recommend regarding the sale of the Norris property. <br />Mayor Rinker said the deal has not closed so he respectfully asked not to disclose the <br />figure. He said we have all discussed this among Council, in Executive Session, and we <br />all know what the sales price is. We are getting the deed prepared and it should be <br />closed in very short order. That is money we will turn back into the General Fund. <br />With the approval, we will be able to go quicker. <br />Hillcrest Council of Councils - Mr. Ferrante said there was no meeting. <br />Historical Societv - Mrs. Mills (in the audience) reported that they had a tea yesterday <br />for the Western Reserve founders which was well attended. She hopes all members of <br />Council will be at Arbor Day on Friday, Apri129 at 10 a.m. <br />M.A.R.C. - Mr. Ferrante said that Mrs. Cinco had included minutes of the last meeting <br />in their packets. <br />Ordinance Review Committee - There was no meeting this month. <br />Plannin? and Zonino - Mr. Basile said they met Apri14. They discussed recording the <br />Workshop meetings. They will discuss the Master Plan (numbers from the school) <br />Thursday night. Progressive Insurance is seeking a variance for building sign. Those <br />drawings will be going to Council.
