s?? 6 <br />Regular Council Meeting <br />4/18/94 <br />Page Fourteen <br />• Thornapple Im?rovement -$7,000 - Motion to approve expenditure - Mr. Busa, <br />seconded by Mr. Basile, made a motion to approve an expenditure not to exceed $7,000 <br />for the improvement to Thornapple Drive. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />~ NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Expenditure Authorized <br />• Fireworks Display - Motion to approve an expenditure of $6.000 to Coyote Rainbow <br />Displa?, A Division of NorthCoast Inter Group, Inc. - Mr. Busa, seconded by Mr. Flynn, <br />made a motion to approve an expenditure of $6,000 to Coyote Rainbow Display, A <br />Division of 1VorthCoast Inter Group, Inc. <br />Mayor Rinker said Coyote is the company who has done our fireworks for the last <br />3-4 years. He has learned that Gates Mills may be able to come up with at least $1,000; <br />they will try to get more. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Expenditure Authorized <br />Resolution No. 94-20, entitled; "A resolution in support of Issue 23 relative to increasing <br />the Cuyahoga County Library Operating Budget." Introduced by Mayor Rinker and <br />Council as a Whole. <br />Mr. Stephens, seconded by Basile, made a motion to adopt Resolution No. 94-20. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Resolution Adopted <br />Resolution No. 94-21, entitled; "An emergency resolution extending the Special U-6 Use <br />Permit to Man's Hair previously granted to use certain premises for a haircutting <br />business for a period of five (5) years." Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as a <br />Whole. <br />Mr. Stephens, seconded by Mr. Basile, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council <br />requiring a resolution to be read on three separate occasions. <br /> <br /> <br />
