Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as <br />a Whole. <br />(.0 <br />C,e) <br />cle) <br />z <br />?? <br />? <br /> <br />Mr. Stephens, seconded by Mr. Basile, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council <br />requiring a resolution to be read on three separate occasions. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mr. Fixler, seconded by Mr. Basile, made a motion to adopt Resolution No. 94-30. <br />Mr. Cappello said that for this process they will use a liquid agent over the top of the <br />pavement. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Resolution Adopted <br />? Mrs. Cinco said the next items to be considered are concrete street repairs and <br />asphalt street crack sealing. Mrs. Cinco said they do not know who they wish to award <br />the bids to without further discussion with the Assistant Engineer. <br />1VIrs. Cinco said Council is dealing with the first two bids (for asphalt street crack <br />sealing) since the third bid is roughly three times as much. <br />Mr. Stephens said he thinks the Village should stay with the same contractor they just <br />awarded the other contract to. <br />1Vlayor Rinker stated the reasons for selecting the second highest as the best bid are: <br />better service, better quality and better product. <br />First Reading of Resolution No. 94-31entitled; "An emergency resolution authorizing <br />the Mayor to enter into a contract with Cross-Roads Asphalt Recycling for asphalt street <br />crack sealing."
