Mr. Siranko, 6027 Ridgeb?urv. , said there are many times he cannot control children, ? children will go toward the edge of it and the dirt is loose--people can slip and fall into ? it. He said it is a 3-5' drop. He thinks the problem should be addressed. He thought a M fence was going to be put up or the grade was going to be changed but nothing has been done. He would hate to see his children fall into this ditch and find out who is < going to be responsible for it; he does not think the Graham's should be responsible for z it. ? Mayor Rinker said he would disagree; he thinks it is the property owners' responsibility to take care of it. Mr. Siranko said what about pets? It is a health hazard and it is disgusting. He thinks something should be done. r Mayor Rinker said we are trying to identify where any of this has originated. Beyond that, we do not control that system--where it originates we try to deal with it. Sean Graham, 6039 Ridgeburv = said if that property is his, why was he told to not build on it. If he has to take care of the easement, then he can build a garage or breezeway on that easement. Mayor Rinker said his understanding is that the easement specifically is to allow access into the culverted portion period. That is the limit of the interest of Mayfield Village in that particular system. The Village maintains the culvert. Mr. Graham said there are bags and garbage in there now; no one has been out to clean it. Ivlayor Rinker said he has indicated that he wants someone to get out and clean it. Where we feel we have responsibility, we will try to uphold our end of the bargain. Mr. Graham or Mr. Siranko asked about the rats. He said he was told by Mr. Novickis that he has to trap them. A brief discussion was held.
