213 MINUTES OF A SPECIAL MEETING OF COUNCIL Mayfield Village July 25,1994 ROLL CALL: Present: Mr. Basile, Mr. Busa, Mrs. Cinco, Mr. Ferrante, Mr. Fixler, and Mr. Flynn Absent: None (D Also Present: Miss Heath M CO The Council of Mayfield Village met in Special Session on Monday, July 25,1994, at < seven o'clock p.m. in the Council Chambers at the Village Hall. Council President z Joanne Cinco presided. G The Special Workshop Meeting was called for Council to interview the candidates for the Ward 4 Council position (to replace Robert Stephens) for a term expiring December 31,1995. Mrs. Cinco said Mr. Kole failed to keep his appointment for 7 p.m. After Mrs. Cinco called his home, she advised Council that Mrs. Kole apologized for Mr. Kole not being here at this point. Hopefully, he will malce it later or will contact Council during the week. Mrs. Cinco asked that this record reflect that Council has received letters or resumes from three individuals seeking the Ward 4 Council position: William B. Buckholtz, Daniel A. Kole and Jo Ann Corradetti. Mrs. Cinco said she received a letter from Mrs. Corradetti asking that she be considered. She thinks it is important that Council get a little more background on her (i.e. has she worked in any leadership capacity, why she is interested in the Council position, et cetera.) 1VIrs. Cinco said Mrs. Corracletti could not be here this evening. She was called into work. Mr. Buckholtz arrived at 7:20 p.m. Introductions were given. Mrs. Cinco said Mr. Buckholtz has a lot of experience. She asked him to address Council. Mr. Buckholtz said he has attended Ohio State and Cleveland State Universities. He also attended John Carroll to get his real estate license. He does not have a degree; he left college to start his own business. He started a production and promotion company that was quite successful for 15 years. Through that, he had an opportunity to serve alot
