213 <br />MINUTES OF A SPECIAL MEETING OF COUNCIL <br />Mayfield Village <br />July 25,1994 <br />ROLL CALL: Present: Mr. Basile, Mr. Busa, Mrs. Cinco, Mr. Ferrante, Mr. Fixler, <br />and Mr. Flynn <br />Absent: None <br />(D Also Present: Miss Heath <br />M <br />CO The Council of Mayfield Village met in Special Session on Monday, July 25,1994, at <br />< seven o'clock p.m. in the Council Chambers at the Village Hall. Council President <br />z Joanne Cinco presided. <br />G The Special Workshop Meeting was called for Council to interview the candidates for <br />the Ward 4 Council position (to replace Robert Stephens) for a term expiring December <br />31,1995. <br />Mrs. Cinco said Mr. Kole failed to keep his appointment for 7 p.m. After Mrs. Cinco <br />called his home, she advised Council that Mrs. Kole apologized for Mr. Kole not being <br />here at this point. Hopefully, he will malce it later or will contact Council during the <br />week. <br />Mrs. Cinco asked that this record reflect that Council has received letters or resumes <br />from three individuals seeking the Ward 4 Council position: William B. Buckholtz, <br />Daniel A. Kole and Jo Ann Corradetti. <br />Mrs. Cinco said she received a letter from Mrs. Corradetti asking that she be considered. <br />She thinks it is important that Council get a little more background on her (i.e. has she <br />worked in any leadership capacity, why she is interested in the Council position, et <br />cetera.) 1VIrs. Cinco said Mrs. Corracletti could not be here this evening. She was called <br />into work. <br />Mr. Buckholtz arrived at 7:20 p.m. <br />Introductions were given. <br />Mrs. Cinco said Mr. Buckholtz has a lot of experience. She asked him to address <br />Council. <br />Mr. Buckholtz said he has attended Ohio State and Cleveland State Universities. He <br />also attended John Carroll to get his real estate license. He does not have a degree; he <br />left college to start his own business. He started a production and promotion company <br />that was quite successful for 15 years. Through that, he had an opportunity to serve alot
