225 <br />Special Council Meeting , - <br />8/1/94 <br />Page Seven <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Expenditure Authorized <br />Mayor Rinker said this would be for expenditures not covered under the H-2 contract. <br />C? <br />(O Mr. Cherosk?, 875 Worton Park Drive - asked about the hours of construction. He said <br />C? Progressive seems to be working when they please. He was told the hours on Saturday <br />Q were from 10 a.m. to quitting time - 5 p.m.--yet they continually violate that policy. <br />z They have started work at 7 a.m. each Saturday. He asked who is running the Village-- <br />? Progressive? <br />Mr. Samac said he sent a letter to Progressive and their construction manager at <br />Whiting Turner. He received a reply from Whiting Turner indicating they would be in <br />compliance. <br />Mr. Ferrante said he believes someone should go there. <br />Mayor Rinker agreed. <br />Nir. Samac explained there had been some confusion on what hours t11ey were <br />permitted to work. He sent a memo to the Police Department with a copy of the <br />ordinance--the hours for Saturday are between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Saturdays. <br />Mayor Rinker said the Village will follow up on it. <br />Mr. Cherosky said if a resident violated the code, they would be warned and cited. <br />Mr. Diemert said if the Police Department has any problems, we will give them <br />direction over the phone and cite the owners of Progressive. <br />Chief Stevens said part of the confusion was because their Codified Ordinances had not <br />been updated and the ordinance was changed; it has been updated now. <br />COMMUNITY ROOM RENOVATION <br />Mr. Amendola said he wants to make Council aware that the refurbishing work on the <br />Community Room is underway. The Service Department will take down the ceiling <br />and the wallpaper Sunday. Theri, they will be ready to start painting. Mr. Amendola <br />said he will give Council a tour of the Wiley swale and compost site if they come to the <br />Picnic Sunday.
