He used to see them every day. He hear they have something more important to do. Mr. Bill Byrne. 6579 Wilson Mills Road Century 21 - said what they are talking about affects their real estate. He would like to know why he is being hassled because his sign is lit at night. The ordinance under which the Village is citing him comes after his sign was there. He said the ordinance says you can't have lit signs when the business is closed. Buyers and sellers come to his business at all hours. Women come in at night; the lit sign is a safety factor. Mr. Byrne said he is a pre-existing user, so he does not believe he falls under the current regulations. Mr. Byrne showed Council pictures of signs at many other Village businesses which were lit after the business was closed. He said he was cited; he asked if Mr. Samac knew of anyone else who had been cited. Mrs. Cinco asked that Mr. Byrne talk to Mr. Diemert after the meeting.
