256 <br />Regular Council Meeting <br />10/17/94 <br />Page Four <br />Authorization for the Mayor to enter into an agreement with Stephen Campbell and <br />Associates in the amount of $22000.00 for the purchase of police logging recorder <br />equipment; <br />Authorization for the Mayor to pay Able Fence an additional $750 for additional fencing <br />at Wiley Park; <br />Authorization for the Mayor to pay for additional expenditure of $750.00 for the <br />Concrete Reconstruction Program to T.C. Construction; <br />Authorization for the Mayor to enter an agreement with Wholesale Builders for asphalt <br />work at the Fire Station, Bike Path and Wiley Park; <br />Amendment of Ordinance 94-37 to provide for the transfer of the truck that was <br />originally planned to be traded in by the Service Department to the Fire Department <br />covered by Ordinance 94-50; <br />The last item on the agenda was discussion of the Fire Station, two of three members <br />recommend approval and one wants more discussion; it is on tonight's agenda. <br />Hillcrest Council of Councils - There was no report. <br />Historical Societv - Mr. Fixler stated the new wood ceiling in the dining room is <br />completed; drywall work in the kitchen is in progress; the ceiling rafters in the bedroom <br />have been installed and the drywall work will be starting shortly. <br />The bi-annual Quilt Show was a success with over 300 attending. <br />All is invited to attend the Turkey Raffle which will be held in the Community Room on <br />November 19 at 7:30 p.m. <br />M.A.R.C. - Mrs. Cinco reported they opened their Art Show at the Highland Heights <br />Community Center this week end. If you would like to see the art exhibits, it will be <br />open tomorrow and Wednesday from 10 - 3. Quite a number of artists participating and <br />very successful this year. Two of the artists have gone on to their next level as a <br />division winner and will be participating in the competition at Cleveland Stadium. <br />Ordinance Review Committee - There was no report. <br />Planning and Zoning - Mrs. Cinco reported there was no quorum and therefore, no <br />official meeting held. All items on the agenda were referred to the workshop that will <br />be held this Thursday. <br />
