: ?.. <br />>M . <br />285 <br />Regular Council Meeting <br />11/21/94 <br />Page Eleven <br />Mr. Diemert said one of the contract provisions requires the Mayor to designate who <br />will be on site and available on a daily basis from the administration. Mr. Diemert said <br />he noticed that Mr. Flynn had a copy of the agreement before amendments were made <br />on Friday, so he pointed out the amendments included on the revised edition attached <br />to the ordinance distributed on Friday. <br />(0 <br />CO Mayor Rinker said we chose Panzica some time ago. We have been very satisfied with <br />M the representations Panzica has made with us and we have established a good working <br />< relationship. <br />z <br />? ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Enacted <br />First Reading of Ordinance No. 94-52, entitled; "An emergency ordinance authorizing <br />the Mayor to enter into a contract with the Osterland Company without the necessity of <br />advertising, informal bidding, for an amount not to exceed $11,000. <br />Mr. Flynn, seconded by Mr. Fixler, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council <br />requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mr. Flynn, seconded by Mr. Fixler, made a motion to enact Ordinance No. 94-52. <br />Mrs. Cinco said coming out of Finance there were a number of questions on the 100% <br />lumP• <br />Mr. Hovancsek said the reason for that is he was planning to do 120' of the 270' full <br />taper. Tom looked at it and it was his opinion that we should do the whole thing. Mr. <br />Hovancsek said he looked at it a second time and concurred it make a better job to redo <br />the entire taper. It is a totally different scope. <br />Mrs. Cinco asked if it could still be done before the snow flies and if it will hold up over <br />the winter. <br />Mr. Hovancsek said yes; it will only get worse if we leave it go. The work can be done <br />in one day. He described the area (just east of where the loop detector on the east side <br />of S.O.M. Center Road.)
