277
(D Architectural Review Board - Mr. Samac said they met October 27. There were 6 cases
M on the agenda. The A.R.B. looked at the presentation submitted by RCU (for the
co
proposed conceptual drawings of the Fire Department Building) and gave their
Q conceptual approval. (It is much too soon for any type of approval.) The Board also
z met November 10. They had three cases, 2 decks and a new home, on that agenda.
c Board of A?peals - Mr. Samac said they met October 25 to reconsider a request for a
variance to the rear yard setback to construct a patio enclosure which had been denied a
month before. They also discussed the sign on Ridgebury Blvd. (which is still
missing) and the Fire Station.
Mayor Rinker said the Ridgebury Blvd. sign would be replaced soon; it is winter work.
Commission on Aging - Mr. Busa said the Director of the Commission on Aging sends
the following report: the flu shot program conducted October 24 serviced 196
individuals; the Christmas Party is Saturday, December 3, from 1-4 p.m. in the
Community Room. Bocce, cards and crafts continue to meet at the regular times. Plans
are in the works for some inter-generational activities with the students in the Mayfield
School District.
SafeW and Service - Mr. Fixler said the recorders are on line. Any calls that are
incoming to our police and fire department are recorded now as they weren't before.
Chief Stevens has already given us two instances where the recording equipment has
been very valuable. Chief Mohr informed us that the paint job for the new truck will
