277 <br />(D Architectural Review Board - Mr. Samac said they met October 27. There were 6 cases <br />M on the agenda. The A.R.B. looked at the presentation submitted by RCU (for the <br />co <br />proposed conceptual drawings of the Fire Department Building) and gave their <br />Q conceptual approval. (It is much too soon for any type of approval.) The Board also <br />z met November 10. They had three cases, 2 decks and a new home, on that agenda. <br />c Board of A?peals - Mr. Samac said they met October 25 to reconsider a request for a <br />variance to the rear yard setback to construct a patio enclosure which had been denied a <br />month before. They reconsidered the case and denied the request for a variance. They <br />did, however, bring the matter back up and were willing to approve a variance to <br />enable the home owner to build the same size structure on the south elevation of the <br />building where it would not encroach anymore on any of the existing side or rear <br />property lines than the previous variance that was granted for the existing building. <br />Ce? - Mr. Buckholtz had no report. <br />Citizen's Advisory Board - Mrs. Cinco said they met October 24. They went over what <br />Council had been dealing with in the past two months concerning the Hickory Hill <br />Pump Station, the North Trunk sewers, and our involvement in S.A.F.E. (which we are <br />out of at this point.) They also discussed the sign on Ridgebury Blvd. (which is still <br />missing) and the Fire Station. <br />Mayor Rinker said the Ridgebury Blvd. sign would be replaced soon; it is winter work. <br />Commission on Aging - Mr. Busa said the Director of the Commission on Aging sends <br />the following report: the flu shot program conducted October 24 serviced 196 <br />individuals; the Christmas Party is Saturday, December 3, from 1-4 p.m. in the <br />Community Room. Bocce, cards and crafts continue to meet at the regular times. Plans <br />are in the works for some inter-generational activities with the students in the Mayfield <br />School District. <br />SafeW and Service - Mr. Fixler said the recorders are on line. Any calls that are <br />incoming to our police and fire department are recorded now as they weren't before. <br />Chief Stevens has already given us two instances where the recording equipment has <br />been very valuable.
