2 78 <br />Regular Council Meeting ; <br />11/21%94 ' <br />Page Four ' <br />(Safet?/Service - continued) cost $700. He also indicated the mini-pumper will have to <br />be replaced in the near future at an approximate cost of $130,000. This looks like <br />something Council will be addressing spring 1996. Finance Committee - Mr. Flynn said they discussed the following items: <br />1) Proposed Contract with Panzica and Committee. (They recommend approval <br />subject to discussion this evening.) <br />2) Authorization of payment to Adler's Sporting Goods for baseball equipment <br />(recommend approval) <br />3) New Copier for Service Dept. (They had a few questions, but if Council has <br />such a mind, they can pass it this evening and get the answers later.) <br />4) Discussion on bid by Osterland -$11,000 for repair work on Wilson Mills <br />Road. (The committee recommends approval but would like to have a little bit more <br />information from either Steve or Tom.) <br />5) Discussion on Resolution 94-42 - accepting the tax rates from the Budget <br />Commission. (The Finance Committee looked them over thoroughly and would have <br />no problem if Council wants to pass it this evening.) <br />Hillcrest Council of Councils - Mrs. Cinco said they did not meet. <br />Historical Societv - Mr. Fixler said restoration work is continuing in the south wing. <br />The annual Turkey Raffle was a success with over 100 in attendance. The Historical <br />Society will hold an Open House on December 1st at 7:30 p.m. for the Mayors and <br />members of Council of the four municipalities which make up the Mayfield Township. <br />M.A.R.C. - Mrs. Cinco said the M.A.R.C. Meeting was held on November 3. They <br />discussed the Art Show and the possible changes to be made due to the declining <br />interest. They will be meeting again December 1st. <br />Ordinance Review Committee - Mrs. Cinco said they will be meeting December 13. <br />There will be a number of issues on the agenda. They have been working with the <br />Master Plan. Council will soon be notified of all the updates. <br />Planning and Zoning - Mr. Basile said they met November 7. They recommended to <br />Council the passage of Ordinance No. 94-22 and 94-23. They also discussed the therapy <br />proposal which was turned down 4-2 and the request for a satellite dish on top of the <br />Progressive building. <br />Recreation Board - Mr. Buckholtz said they met November 16. Discussion was held on <br />the summer camp which will expand its hours. They have agreed to raise the pay for <br />the Director. However, the Director for previous years is unavailable, so at this time a
