Regular Council Meeting <br />1/18/93 <br />Page Three <br />Chief Mohr said the company has allotted an amount of money for training. He <br />recommends several members go there. Regarding driving the iruck back; we brought <br />the Pierce truck back with our people and their salesman on board. Chief Mohr asked <br />Joe Diemert what he suggests--who should bring the truck back. <br />Mr. Diemert said whenever they iransfer the title--if it transfers to us beforehand, it is <br />covered under our policy. <br />Mayor Pietrafese asked what is allocated to bring the vehide back. <br />Chief Mohr said they told him if their representative brings the truclc back we are <br />looking at a cost of about $1,200. If we bring it back, he does not know the cost but <br />would like to research that question. <br />Mayor Pietrafese asked Chief Mohr if he would give he and Council a summary of what <br />is covered and how many people he wants to go, et cetera. <br />Chief Mohr said the cost of instruction is included. <br />STANDING COMMITTEE REPORTS: <br />Architectural Review Board - Mr. Amendola said the board met and reviewed plans <br />submitted for two additional changes on homes for material use and a room addition. <br />Board of Appeals - Mr. Amendola said they were not required to meet. <br />Cemetery - Mr. Basile said he has nothing to report at this time. <br />Citizen's Advisory Committee - Mr. Fixler said he has no report. <br />Commission on Aging - Mr. Busa said crafts and cards are continuing to meet alternate <br />Tuesdays. The card group enjoyed lunch and a surprise party for Howard Schulz. <br />Plans are in the works for a trip to the Rain Forest and indoor golf. The employee <br />luncheon will be held February 8. Council and the Mayor are invited. Please R.S.V.P. to <br />Eunice Kalina on or before February 3 if you wish to attend. <br />Finance - Mr. Flynn reported the committee met this evening and recommend moving <br />ahead with the following: <br />1) C.R.I.S. - renewal of contract (Ord. 93-2) <br />2) Enhanced 9-1-1 (Res. 93-3)
