Special Council Meeting <br />2/1/93 <br />I'age Four <br />Mr. Goldberg from D.O. Summers said there is no venting whatsoever. <br />1VIr. Fixler said he is asking these questions because there are many rules and <br />regulations that have come up recently from the E.P.A. regarding all dry cleaning <br />solutions and he wants to make sure the environment is going to be protectecl as well as <br />the safety of our residents. He would like to see a more detailed plan. <br />1VIr. Diemert said Council could have a special meehng tomorrow, TNednesday, or <br />Thursciay to have the second reading of Ordinance No. 93-06. Then, a Public Hearing <br />can be advertised on Friday for 30 days from this Friday. <br />There will be a special Council meeting on Wednesday, February 3,1993, at 7:30 p.m. <br />Mr. Flynn requested that Council be copied with the plans and any cover letter or <br />information to enhance their knowledge of the operation. <br />Mr. Busa asked how the gasoline tanks were handled. <br />Mrs. Cinco said that was also addressed in Planning and Zoning. <br />Mr. Goldberg from D.O. Summers said the gas company is putting in an air purification <br />system which will cleanse the land. Until they get a clean bill of health, the land cannot <br />transfer. They are only leasing it until they clean up the land. It should be in operation <br />in a couple of weeks. <br />Mr. Diemert said that Wednesday will only be the second reading of Ordinance IVo. <br />93-06 and he will have a typed version of it then. <br />Mrs. Cinco asked if there were any other items for the special meering. <br />1VIr.
