IZegular Council Meeting <br />2/15/93 <br />Page Foua° <br />Mayor Rinlcer administered the oath of office to Mr. Ferrante as Council President Pro <br />'Pem. <br />r <br />1 <br />9 <br />E <br />[. <br />DEPARTMENT HEAD REPORTS <br />Mr. giovancsek said he and Mr. Amendola viewed all streets in the Village and will be <br />coming up with a report and cost estimate by the end of the weelc. <br />li/Ir. Brett said he discussed the fire truck financing with the Finance Committee and <br />asked for informal approval from Council to have the necessary legislation prepared. <br />STAIl1DING COMMITTEE REPORTS <br />Architectural Review Board - Mr. Amendola said they met; they only had one drawing <br />for a room addition to consider. <br />Board of A12peals - Mr. Amendola said they were not authorized to meet. <br />Cemeterv - Mr. Fixler said there was no report. <br />Citizen's Advisory Committee - Mrs. Cinco reported james Mason was elected <br />Chairman; Shirley Flugan was elected secretary for 1993. Discussion at their last <br />meeting included the following: they were concerned about the development of the <br />northwest quadrant (they were told this was just on land usage.) They were glad to see <br />litigation has decreased; they are concerned about backyard flooding. They also <br />discussed the committee thank-you dinner. <br />Commission on A ing - Mr. Busa said Mrs. Kalina offered the following report: The <br />Commission on Aging hosted the annual employee thank-you lunch in the community <br />room. About 25-30 employees attended. The card and craft groups are meeting as <br />usual. The minutes Council asked for and their financial report is coming. He will <br />submit a copy of this report to the secretary. <br />]Finance - Mr. Flynn said they met this evening. g-ie announced there will be a special <br />Finance Committee Meeting a week from today (February 22), at 7 p.m. concerning <br />salaries and wages. <br /> <br /> <br />Mr. Flynn said the committee recommends moving ahead with the following: <br />Annual allotment to the Historical Society; Fire Department Vehicle (Mr. Brett would <br />like Council to authorize him to seek bond counsel); purchase of two police cars ancl <br />one new blazer to replace the 1986 wagon.
