Special Council Meeting <br />3/29/93 <br />Page Four <br />Motion to approve the Council President's appointment of James Farmer as the <br />Mayfield Village represenEative to M.A.R.C. (Mayfield Area Recreation Council) for a <br />period of two years <br />Mrs. Cinco said M.A.R.C. wrote to Mayfield Village asking for an update on how to do <br />the appoinhnents; they are looking over their bylaws. Mr. Farmer started on March 1st, <br />1993, and she would like his approval to be unti112-31-94 so M.A.R.C. will have that on <br />their record. <br />Mr. Busa, seconded by Mr. Basile, made a motion to approve the Council President's <br />appointment of James Farmer as the Mayfield Village Representative to M.A.R.C. for a <br />two-year term ending December 31,1994. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: Mr. Basile, Mr. Busa, Mrs. Cinco, Mr. Ferrante, Mr. Fixler, <br />Mr. Flynn, and Mrs. Leppla <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Appointment Confirmed <br />Motion to approve the expenditure of $3,016 to Applied Concepts, Inc. for the <br />purchase of two stationary radar packages pursuant to the quotation submitted to Chief <br />Stevens <br />Chief Stevens said this is to replace two units that are between 8-10 years old. The units <br />are the same as those purchased 3 years ago which they have found to be very reliable. <br />Mr. Fixler said he spoke to Chief Stevens this morning and was under the assumption <br />that this item was going to go to Safety and Service first and then come to Council. <br />Chief Stevens said they would appreciate it as soon as possible.
