Mrs. Cinco said if a vote is taken on the Village's
acceptance of financial assistance for the composting facility, she is in favor of it (and
would like to cast her vote accordingly.)
Mr. Hovancsek suggested the Village sencl a letter to the Upper 40 residents indicating
we have an opportunity to receive 50% funding for this project and are planning to go
ahead with it.
Compostin FacilitX
Mayor Rinker said Council will be taking a voice vote in order to go ahead with the
application for the composting facility.
Mr. Hovancsek said this project had been submitted to the Small Governments
Committee in Columbus a year ago. The District One Public Works Committee asked
to have it submitted again but there is no assurance we will get the funding. Mr.
Hovancsek said he recommends the Village request the funding. He has requested an
additional $50,000 (for additional work) to what had been requested last year.
