The tentative schedule calls for an
open cut to be started this summer at the corner of Wilson Mills and Beech Hill to the
storage tank on Bonnieview.
Mrs. Cinco asked if everything will be back to the way it is when they put everything
back together.
Mr. Kritzer said they will not have to touch the bridge on Beech Hill, and explained the
route.
Mr. Hovancsek asked that a meeting be scheduled with Village representatives and the
contractor so we can notify residents in the immediate area. Delivery vehicles will be
restricted and there will be limited ingress and egress.
Mayor Rinker asked if they have a calendar, and any sense of predicting the schedule.
It would be helpful to be able to distribute literature to the residents.
Mr. Fixler asked if they were willing to meet with the residents to tell them what is
happening.
Mrs. Cinco said there may be questions about foliage
Mr. Fixler asked if whatever is disturbed will be replaced.
Mr. Kritzer said the contractor will videotape the properties that will be disturbed so
they can restore the property.
Mrs. Leppla said Progressive Insurance was not allowed to dynamite. She asked what
would be the worst case scenario that could happen to a resident's home (from
dynamiting.)
The N.E.O.R.S.D. representative said they have used dynamite on the west side and had
a few complaints. There were also some complaints that were groundless. The
contractor has insurance to take care of it. He is not aware of any complaints from this
end of town.
Mr. Hovancsek stated the large trees in the right-of-way that will be removed will not
be replaced.
