They
have committed to $2,000.00; they will try to get more if they can. Mayfield Village will
be responsible for $5,000.00. This price reflects a discount for being on an off night and
also takes into account some of the disappointment everyone expressed after last year's
fireworks because of the staging. We have tried to see if we could put the fireworks
closer to the Village green, but we cannot. They will be launched from C.E.I. Chief
Mohr is coordinating with Coyote to improve the site lines that we. have. Probably the
better areas to see the display are around Beta Drive and Georgian Center.
Mr. Ferrante, seconded by Mr. Basile, made a motion to approve an expenditure of
$7,000 to Coyote Rainbow Display for a fireworks display.
ROLL CALL: AYES: All
Motion Carried
Expenditure Authorized
NAYS: None
First Reading of Ordinance No. 93-23, entitled; "An emergency ordinance authorizing
the Mayor to enter into an agreement with Aero Mark for striping of certain streets
throughout the Village."
