Regular Council Meeting <br />5/17/93 <br />Page Fourteen <br />Mr. Busa, seconded by Mr. Ferrante, made a motion to enact Ordinance No. 93-26. <br />Mrs. Cinco said as for Finance, the committee had discussion on past performance and <br />experiences, with our Law Director's help, dealing with job performance. With that in <br />mind, we have not taken the lowest bid but we feel we have taken the best bid. She <br />asked if anyone had anything else to add. <br />Mr. Ferrante said we should also include other communities that have had problems <br />(that we have been made aware of.) <br />Mayor Rinker said Mrs. Cinco referenced the Law Director's opinion letter dated May <br />13,1993. He asked that Council incorporate that letter into the minutes of the meeting <br />for purposes of reference. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: Mr. Basile, Mr. Busa, Mrs. Cinco, Mr. Ferrante, Mr. Fixler, <br />Mr. Flynn, and Mrs. Leppla <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />CLOSING COMMENTS <br />Ordinance Enacted <br /> <br /> <br />Mr. Ferrante said he would like to bring up Cooperman's color that they have griped <br />about for a year and a half. He asked what will be done about the painting of that <br />building. Mr. Ferrante advised Mr. Hovancsek he is still waiting for him to take that <br />walk with him. <br />Mr. Hovancsek said this week. <br />Mrs. Cinco asked if there had been some reference in minutes that their paint maker <br />claimed it faded, which it has not. <br />Mr. Amendola said the Architectural Review Board agrees that there has been no <br />change in the paint. The owner said Sherwin Williams told them it should have <br />lightened up. Mr. Amenclola said he (the owner) was supposed to attend the <br />Architectural Review Board meeting last week, but did not. The Architectural Review <br />Board sent him a letter saying that he should come in or all information will go directly <br />to the Law Director. <br />Mr. Ferrante said he would like to see some action on this.
