Special Council Meeting <br />6/14/93 <br />I'age Two <br />Miss Heath confirmed that it had. <br />Mr. Diemert stated that to override the Mayor's veto, Council needs 5 affirmative votes. <br />Mrs. Cinco asked if there is a motion to overricie. <br />Mr. Flynn, seconded by Mr. Fixler, made a motion to override the Mayor's veto of <br />Ordinance No. 93-22. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: Mr. Busa, IVIr. Fixler, Mr. Flynn, and Mrs. Leppla <br />NAYS: Mr. Basile, Mrs. Cinco, and Mr. Ferrante <br />Motion Not Carried <br />Veto Stands <br />First Reading of Ordinance No. 93-28 entitled; "An emergency ordinance pertaining to <br />the wages, benefits, and other terms and conditions of employment for employees of <br />Mayfield Village, Ohio, for the calendar years 1993-1994, repealing all ordinances <br />inconsistent herewith." Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole. <br />Mr. Busa, seconded by Mr. Basile, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council <br />requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mr. Busa, seconded by Mr. Ferrante, made a motion to enact Ordinance No. 93-28. <br />Mr. Flynn said he would appreciate it if the Mayor would check with various Council <br />people to see if they want their names included in the (introduced by) title. <br />Mayor Rinker asked if anyone wished to have their name removed from the ordinance. <br />There were no replies. <br />Mr. Flynn said if there is ever a question where he may be at odds with another <br />particular ordinance, he would like to be notified (before his name is included.) <br />Mayor Rinker explained he asked for this ordinance; his request was to have one <br />provision (included in Ordinance No. 93-22) removed. He thinks the face page was <br />taken from the first ordinance for this one.
