Special Council Meeting
6/14/93
Page Eight
CLOSING COMMENTS
Mr. Flynn asked, regarding the swale to the west of Hardwood Drive, what the Village's
policy is--or the time frame for re-establishing the 20' easement swale on the west side
of that particular property.
1VIr. Diemert said he thought he had sent Mr. Flynn a letter recently and that they are
going to monitor the flow after the ditch has been re-dug by the properfy owners to see
if the 20' easement has been obstructed. If it has and the flow of water is going outside
it because of an obstruction, then the Mayor and Service Director will order the
individual to remove the garden that obstructs it. If the water can still flow through
there without removing it, or if there can be an alternate drainage; he thinks that is
something the Engineer is looking into. The Village needs to take action to enforce the
swale when the water course is obstructed.
Mrs. Leppla said she would like to see, in writing, exactly what will happen.
ADTOURNMENT
There being no further business, Mr. Ferrante, seconded by Mr. Busa, made a motion to
adjourn.
ROLL CALL: AYES: All
NAYS: None Motion Carried
The meeting adjourned at 7:03 p.m.
C CIL PRESID T, JOANNE CINCO
MAYOR, BRUCE G.
