Special Council Meeting <br />6/14/93 <br />Page Seven <br />Mrs. Leppla asked how the projects were being prioritized. She said Mayor Rinker said <br />he chose the Walnut one because of the simplistic features; is that how the projects are <br />being prioritized. <br />Mayor Rinker said back in February he had Steve and Gus, who are well versed in these <br />problems, go out and select three primary areas where there is a need that goes beyond <br />an individual property. He took their input to prioritize. He said he had explained <br />what they were irying to do to the Water District Committee and had explained they <br />were using these on a test basis. Other than that, for priorities--they have the Burgess <br />and Niple study. He is trying to put them on a more manageable scale being mindful <br />of the budget and mindful of a collective problem. <br />Mrs. Cinco said it is her understanding with the meeting coming up on June 29, that <br />Gus and Steve will have a whole package put together identifying what is needed. <br />Mrs. Leppla asked if the Village has an easement on the Sullivan property. <br />Mrs. Cinco said these are all things they have to look at. <br />exceptions to <br />rules. He made a motion authorizing and directing Gus or Steve to go to the Sullivan <br />property and give them (Council) a cost estimate on the remainder of that pipe on the <br />northern end of that property by next Council Meeting. <br />easement we should maintain, by all means he thinks we can go in.
