Regular Council Meeting <br />7/19/93 <br />Page Six <br />First Reading of Ordinance No. 93-37, entitled; "An emergency ordinance amending <br />Section 133.02 of the Codified Ordinances providing one hundred dollars for the <br />Recreation Committee petty cash account." Introduced by Mayor Rinlcer and Council as <br />a tiVhole. <br />Mr. Flynn, seconded by Mrs. Leppla, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council <br />requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mr. Flynn, seconded by Mr. Fixler, macie a motion to enact Ordinance No. 93-37. <br />Mayor Rinker said this is for a day-to-day kind of thing. There have been times where <br />members of the committee have had to front monies to buy needed supplies. It didn't <br />make much sense for them not to have a working petty cash fund. He believes it is a <br />sensible arrangement. <br />Mrs. Cinco said it was made clear during the Finance Meeting tonight that the person <br />who will be in charge of this fund be totally responsible and reliable. There must be a <br />balance, otherwise they will be expected to make up the difference. Mrs. Cinco said she <br />cioes not think there should be a problem. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Enacteci <br />Approval of Landscaping Plan for Progressive Insurance <br />Mr. Basile, seconded by Mr. Ferrante, made a motion to approve the landscaping plan <br />for Progressive Insurance. <br />Mrs. Cinco said minutes of many meetings (where this was discussed) have been copied <br />to Council. She asked Mrs. Leppla to give Worton Park's opinion. <br />Mrs. Leppla said the Worton Park Association has met since last year on these plans. At <br />one point the people that lived along the west end buffer met with the Landscape <br />Architect and Mr. Bloomfield. Progressive has worked very closely with us in trying to <br />appease the residents' desires for a visual and audio screen. From what she hears, <br />everyone is quite pleased with the plans; they are concepiual which means they have <br /> <br /> <br />
