There is <br />not going to be a xnajor structure removeci or a lot of material hauled into the site, but <br />the project will be done in that area. There will not be that much digging because the <br />clepth is shallow. <br />Mrs. Leppla asked how important it is that Council give them approval for this when <br />fhey do not know t11e impact that it will have on these residents yet. What are we <br />saying in voting yes for this resolution. <br />1VIr. Hovancselc said he is not indicating Council must pass the legislation this evening. <br />If Council wishes, they can discuss it further. <br />Mrs. Cinco said she will place this item on the Caucus agenda. <br />1Vtayor Rinker said we will need to send notices to the residents. <br />Note: Resolution No. 93-27 failed for lack of a vote (see minutes below.) <br />First Reading of Ordinance No. 93-44, entitled; "An emergency ordinance authorizing <br />the Mayor to enter into a contract with A&J Cement Contractors, Inc. for the <br />Highland/S.O.M. Center Intersection Improvement." Introduced by Mayor Rinker and <br />Council as a Whole. <br />Mr. Basile, seconded by Mr. Busa, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council <br />requiring an ordinance to be read on three separafe occasions. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mr. Busa, seconded by Mr. Fixler, made a motion to enact Oxdinance No. 93-44. <br />IVIr. Flynn asked Mr. Hovancsek the time frame for this project. <br />IvIr. Hovancsek said due to the lateness of the season, the project will not start until <br />probably Apri11994. <br /> <br /> <br />Mayor Rinker asked if the Village is fronting any money this year prior to <br />commencement of the project.
